The two pictures above are from the first stake starting at your left that I have been showing when I have the camera on the inside because of the 95 degree weather, well this morning I will be here again because of wet ground we did get a good rain last night; This plant is one of those delicous Brandy Wines, for flavor thy can't be beat. DAD

We were showing this tomato just a few days ago and we are going to try to keep showing it untill it has some ripe tomatoes showing.

.In the first paragraph above I promised to give you some thing to smile about when I had a chance. Here it is for this morning, just click on this Sara's Dog Training and you will be at Saras blog. It has never failed for me. Dad.

"Fruiting crops, including tomatoes, need full sun most of the day for good production of quality fruit. Good drainage is also important. In high to medium rainfall areas (more than 30 inches per year) work the soil into ridges and plant on the ridge or build raised beds 12 to 18 inches deep. Plan on setting out at least one cherry tomato and 4 to 6 large-fruited varieties depending on the number of fresh tomato lovers in your family. You'll need stakes or wire tomato cages to support the plants to keep the fruit off the ground where it would rot. To insure even and efficient watering, you will want to put in a drip or soaker hose system for watering. Finally, count on mulch to keep down the weeds."

.We plan to have Cam # 1 out in the garden again today. We had it out 10 hours yesterday, The weather is going to be hot again today a high of 95, We are trying to keep the Camera in the shade as much as possible. We may keep it on the patio looking out over the garden the same as we did yesterday. What you are seeing at the moment on your left is a vine that the humming birds like and then there are 6 of those Brandy Wine tomatoes, and then of course old Dad's resting place. I have spent many hours there watching the birds and listing to the birds sing. And the sound of that bird bath Nothing better than that. Dad.

I am going to do something this morning that I have never done in my over seven years of writing this blog. There are so many things in Entry # 2197 that I want to show again. I want to introduce you to a very nice fellow pictured above, His name is Prince and he now lives with Mary and myself. I am sure that you remember Princess, we lost here about a year and one half ago, and Mary and I have missed her so much, it has been very hard on Mary. As you know Mary is sick and is not doing the very best at the present. She has two of the very best doctors, she has complete confidence in them. Both of these doctors suggested that she get another pet, so here is just what the doctors ordered. I hope that Prince will be of some comfort to her, DAD.

Well I am out of that nice bed and ready to go to work.I am feeling good, not as good as yesterday morning but still able to face this new day with confidence.

As the poem says " We are not promised skies always blue." but we are promised strength to face what ever comes across our pathway if we keep true to God.

Here are my tall snap pea plants. Kind of hard to see, because they blend in with all the green trees in the back ground, but they are taller than my five foot tall self! Sara .

My mood for today 6/14/10 is Happy.

Good Morning.
I have several good reasons for being in a Happy mood this morning. I am glad that God in his tender mercy has given me another day, another clean sheet and I want to be careful today and not mess it up.
.
And another reason for happiness is memories of our Sunday morning meeting. We were blessed with having 7 visitors with us. We did have a very encouraging meeting. Much was said that I will not soon forget. And seeing these young men and women living their lives to please God makes me want to keep on going to the end of my life, Dad.
