ENTRY # SIXTEEN HUNDRED & SEVENTY EIGHT

Good Morning.

Would you think that I am silly if I said that I am glad that this is Monday morning, but I am. I thought that I would be all rested up by leaving off my regular entry on Saturday but it did not work that way .
.
I just could not settle down and relax like I would have liked to do. After all I have been trying to write this blog for nearly seven years, and I have not missed many times. So on Saturday I did not know what to do with myself. I am not going to try that again.
.
I just noticed that the count on the number of entries of this blog have just past 200,000. Thank to all of you Dad.
.

Sunday was a beautiful day with a high of 73 and a nice breeze blowing all day, and the breeze continuing into the night. The flag was very beautiful on the Cam. We hope that this Monday will be another good one, The temperature at 3 A.M. is 66 and more sun expected.

We hope that we will be getting our Cam for the tomato garden in soon, because it is not going to be very many days until we will be thinking about getting down to business The ground is ready and waiting on us. And I do hope that you can watch the Cam as we are doing this.

Good Morning.

This is Saturday morning and I usually have an entry for today but not for Sunday. This week I am going to be leaving off my Saturday entry, but I will see you early Monday if all is well. Our plans for Sunday are as usual.

I want to assure you that I am O. K. feeling very good on this Saturday morning. We hav a tempeature of 45 here in east Tennessee this morning, and we expect more sunshine today.
.
I will be checking my email during the weekend, I will be glad to hear from you. Even though I am not posting a journal I am smiling, and hope that you are doing the same.

The Kneeling Camel

The camel at the close of day,

Kneels down upon the sandy plain,

To have his burden lifted off,

And rest again.
My soul, I too shouldst to my knees,

When daylight draweth to a close,

And let my Master lift my load,

And grant repose.

. We are seeing another warm morning and it makes me smile. It is 53 here in the Tennessee Valley at 3 A.M. and again we are supposed to have more of that good sunshine today. This does help us all to feel better. I do feel like getting out and see what I can find that needs to be done.

We had a visit with Mary's doctor yesterday morning, We are hopeful that the things that he changed will be helpful. Mary and I both have good doctors and we do trust and appreciate them. I have not talked to

Mary yet this morning, when I do if there is any changes I will let you know. I am going to let her sleep a little later this morning. Dad.

We are getting started this morning with a nice temperature 33 at 3 A.M. here in the Tennessee Valley and more sunshine. I should be able to get along good with that kind of weather. I am not feeling the very best this morning and I am not blaming it on anything but old age, and my Doctor told

me a long time ago that there is no cure for that, and to just settle down and enjoy it, It could be the best part of your life.

Hope everyone is feeling in tip-top shape this morning. I'm "holding my own," as the old saying goes. And I am expecting to have a busy day. It looks like that the weather is going to be good, we are starting off the day at 3 A.M. this morning with a temperature of 27 and we expect to see more sunny skies today. Maybe I can get out of this office and do a little real work, the kind that makes you smile when thing begin to take shape, and you end the day with as I call it that good tired feeling.

The reason that I am showing these flowers I am just trying to rush up spring time. I am so tired and weary of this cold, rainy and snowy weather that we have been having, I sure will give you a BIG SMILE when summer time gets here. Dad.

Have you looked at the Eagle Web Cam yet. It is about time for things to begin happening up there. They are doing a lot of work to make it better for us. We watched it last year, the poor eagles had bad luck. We wish them the best for this season. My friend Helen is the one that first told me about this wonderful link. Thanks Helen. Mary and I had a pleasant surprise on Saturday morning. Our friends Don and Ila called and said that they were going to bring two of their friends from Quincy Ill. for a visit. And are we glad that they did, we had a wonderful visit. Mr Lloyd Helmreich and his son Bruce were our visitors One of the reasons that they came was because Lloyd and I are about the same age, I am about one year older than Lloyd. We did enjoy talking and we did not get done but they had to leave, old people have a lot to talk about, but we do hope to get together again before the journey is over.We are just glad that we have new friends in Quincy. DAD.

These days are starting off cool but it does warm up when the sun comes up. Right now at 3 A.M. the temperature is 26, and it says plenty of sunshine for this day.

We have placed our order with Jackson and Perkins for our roses, they will arrive about the 15th of March. We are anxious to get them in the ground. I love roses and they make me smile almost as much as my tomatoes do, but not hardly as much. DAD.
