DAD’S WEDNESDAY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY-SEVEN

 

Good Morning,

We had a little spare time so Mary decide to make us a quick Vides, she will be making more of these now , She has some real good equipment to do that with.

The Somatra Starbucks is just about ready, I can smell it, if this is to early for you, it is , 12:24  a.m at the m0ment I will have more later and all through the day. Dad.

I wonder what kind of a mood we are all in this morning, I will be pleased if you say HAPPY, I have proved that is the best way to start your day, and we sure do not want to spoil  our day, but enjoying life to its fullest, we have so much to thank God for all the good things that he sends to our house every day. Dad,

We are beginning this day with a nice Temp. of 52 with clear blue skies, no rain in sight at the moment

I hope that Ted my good neighbor gets back from Florida soon, I need for him to get some one to turn my Tomato ground for  me, he always has someone who will do it. It will not be a very big job this year as I am cutting back on my crop. But I will have enough to share with you, bring your own salt shaker, and soon after July the 4th. come visit Dad.

Here he is is once again, right here at my side, watching me work, what a good pal to both Mary and I, we want to take good care of him, he gives us no trouble at all, and don’t even think of asking us if he is f0r sale, you would know that the answer would be a loud NO,   Dad

Tonight is our midweek bible study, tonight we are studying Daniel chapter 2. Very interesting study, Daniel had to suffer a  lot, but it was willingly, its mentioned in another chapter about “ The God Of Daniel has shut the lions mouth”

I am not done rambling but I am going to park any way, I am tired and need a little pit stop, but I am in a happy mood, and am looking forward for daylight so I can get out of here. And get my clothes and hands dirty,

Dads Tuesdays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Six

Good  Morning.

“ Time is so precious- please do not waste it “

My thoughts before I was out of my bed this morning was about a little reader that I used in my first year of school . A few years ago I became interested in finding one of these readers, and one of my friends searched for one and it soon was mailed to me as a gift. The books tells about Baby Ray and his little dog Penny.

But why would this old 98 plus years man be having thoughts like this at 12:42 a.m. in the morning, about a book that I studied so many years ago.

I think that it was the impressions that some of the stories that we studied made on my young mind and some of them are sweet memories to me, and it brings to memory so many of my sweet teachers,

The story that came to my mind was titled “ A little Shepherd “

Here are just a line or so of the words.

“ Little Boy Blue, Come blow your horn.

The sheep are in the meadow The cows are in the corn Where is the little boy who looks after the sheep ?

He is under the haystack Fast asleep “

Now do you think that I have lost my mind ? This is always means of bringing back sweet memories, and I get help when I think of the thing that this that I can take as good advice over 90 years later sorry if I bored you, but I just had to tell you these things. DAD

I have had the Sumatra Starbuck x bold ready for a while, just got so busy that I forgot to pour you a cup. Sorry.

Our starting temp. is 37 degrees at the moment and  blue skies, looks like a good day to work, and there is more than enough for Mary and I to do.

Our Wildlife Habitat is needing attention very bad, and that is #1 on our plans for today

Dads Mondays Entry Two THOUSAND Six Hundred Seventy Five.

Good Morning.

I am wondering about all my friends this morning, I hope that you are in a happy mood this morning, we don’t want to spoil the week ahead with a frown on our faces, I just do not like frowns, it depresses me.

Always on a new Monday morning I think about those clean, white sheets that Our God gives us in his tender mercies. and it seems to create in me a desire to do my best to keep it clean until my bedtime tonight.

We were in a meeting yesterday afternoon at 4 p.m. and this saying that I like was spoken about. We were reminded so much about the shortness of our lives, even we live to be 98 plus it soon flies away, so why would we ever want to waste any of it ?

I know that you have been wondering about this Sumatra Starbuck x bold, no need to worry I keep a pot handy and I wish that it was possible to share it with you, with all these unheard of inventions coming every day, where will we be in the next few years, maybe visiting and smiling over a cup of x bold. Dad.

We are beginning this day with a temp. of 45 degrees, and at this hour in the morning 4:00 a.m. it looks like no rain. That makes me smile.

Dads Sundays Entry Tw0 Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Four

Good Morning

Begin this day with God, and continue and finish it with Him. Oh what a great wonderful  thing that is’

My only reason for this Sunday morning is to say Hello to you, and to let you know that Mary and I are fine, and looking to be in our meeting this morning. We do go to another home this 1st Sunday, we do this every month, Two churches come together that day.

Some of you that read this might not know this, but I think that the most of you do.

We have a warm 44 at the moment with clear blue skies.

DAD’S SATURDAYS ENTRY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE

Good Morning,

Now I want you to get right back in that bed, you know that this is Saturday morning , many of you do not work, and I want you to have extra rest. I may need to call on you to help me on Monday

I am sure that the most of you have met this young fellow, if not his name is Prince, and he is with me at the moment watching me work, he brings so much pleasure to Mary and I, he is not for sale, money can not buy him.

Don’t you worry about your coffee, while you are getting your extra rest I will make a pot of Sumatra Starbucks x bold it will be waiting on you, and I will pour. Dad.

We are starting this Saturdays blog with a nice 58 degrees . We did have a bad storm in the middle of the night Many people with no power this morning, it did not affect us here at The Tomato Garden.

Dads Fridays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Two

G0od Morning.

Are you waking up in a Happy mood this morning ? Well Dad has to say that he is, we had a good day yesterday, Nancy came buy and helped us  on the way t0 freedom, and what a good job she did Nancy is our true friend and Mary and I love her very much, they just don’t make kind like her anymore , this world would be a much better place to live in if they did, DAD

At 1:47 a.m. eastern time we have a tem. of 46 degrees ,and looking out my office window it looks like no rain, that makes me smile, I need just a few days to get my Tomato Garden spot turned. I am going to if my good neighbor Ted will do it for me or get some one that will, I can always depend on Ted. Dad

My book “ Dad  The Tomato Man” is coming along good, as soon as I get a picture of it I will have a spot on the Side Panel where you can just click on the picture , and place your order from there, and in a few days look in the mail box. Dad.

I finally decided to get this pot of Sumatra Starbucks coffee x bold sending out a smell that you just cannot stay in bed any longer, come on you need to get to work, we need the money, and just look, it’s the 2nd of the month, every one will be expecting their money and we want to be good examples, paying our bille on time. I hope to hear from Heather or Mark soon, I am anxious to get those new shoes, I have done without decent shoes long enough. And we were pleased with the way that Mark treated us, so kindly, and he proved to us that he knew what he was doing. Mary & Dad

Dads Thursdays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Seventy One

Good Morning.

Is it to early to talk, I am running a little late this morning , the time is 1:07 a.m eastern time, I will get back in line in a few  minuets. “ Time is so precious-do not waste it “

I tell you this almost every day, and I want to keep on telling you this, it is so true and we all do need to take heed to it, of all people Old Dad, because I have been in this world for 98 plus years, I was born on September 2 1913 so my time has to be about gone, I am not bothered by that thought because I have by the Mercy of God enjoyed my stay here and spending some of it any way in “ Living For Others”

“ Sumtra Starbuck x bold is scarce –  so do not waste it”

I am sure that there is no chance of that happening, we coffee lovers need our coffee so bad in the early morning that we empty more than one pot, I want to serve you again this morning, so sit, enjoy and smile.   

Now I have something good to tell you, it is about some real kindness that Mary and I received yesterday. You would remember that we had an appointment at 2 p.m. for me to be measured for my new shoes,since my wound is healed I will be walking around in real shoes again. SMILE.

We went to Heathers office to get started, she was not there at the moment, so the sweet ladies directed us up the hall to Marks office and where he measures you for a shoe that is right for you, he was so kind and patient with Mary and I, he spent a lot of time with us all in kindness, and we are so glad that Mark was our helper. He has my shoes in the works, they will be ready in a few days, then we return to Mark and he gets me going. I wish that there were more people in this world like Mark, it would be a much better place to live and do business.Thank you Mark, when my tomatoes are ready we will try to bring some out there for all of you. And Mark don’t forget to read my blog, Thanks from Mary and Dad.

As we were leaving Heather came in with that sweet smile and greeting, why are we so fortunate to have so many kind and friendly friends to do business with ?

It is another warm morning here at Dads Tomato Garden, it is 64 degrees at 2:18 a.m.eastern time, the streets look wet, more rain I think, I am looking for a short dry spell so I can get me spot turned for my tomatoes, I need to get them in the ground latter part of March.
