MONDAYS ENTRY # TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRE TWENTY

Good Morning.

We were away from home most of the day yesterday so I am not really prepared to write a journal ( I never am prepared, I just sit down here and write whatever comes to me)
.
But you know how much I love my Sumatra x bold coffee, and then go an check on Sara, Misty and Oreo at Sara's Sara's Dog Training blog. It might help me think a little better Misty has been sick, I hope to find Misty improved this morning. " Hang in there Misty" DAD.
.
I was real tired at bedtime last night, it was an exhausting day, but after a night of rest I do feel better, I don't feel like that I could whip a wild cat, but I think that I could handle Prince, And you may not believe this but it is true he is here watching the keyboard as I write, and the clock says 3;10 A.M. He is about as crazy as Dad, don't you think.

Mary and I will be out of town most of the day on November 11. We will be in Nashville at the Vanderbilt Hospital, You may be aware that Mary has a problem with Parkinson's Disease and she was advised by her local doctor to go to Vanderbilt. She keeps in touch with her doctor by email between visits to see him.

Yes it's Dad on this Saturday morning, I love Saturdays because I know that we we are going to be able to relax a little, and Mary and I do enjoy our Suunday morning meeting, so our plans are about the same as usual, meeting, then a lunch at home, and then spend the afternoon playing with Prince. He will love that.

.

This afternoon is going to be a little different, a friend of ours whose home is in Jonesboro, TN. passed away and we intend to go to his funeral It is around a 100 miles to Jonesboro.

.

I try to have my coffee real early, and then I go to read what my friend Sara has to tell me at Sara's Dog Training blog. I have never been disappointed, neither will you. DAD.

Yes it's Dad here again on this friday morning, I am feeling very good this morning and you can say that my mood is Happy. I feel that the good sleep that I get each nighe helpes me a lot

.We have been haveing some wet weather here. It rained most of the day yesterday, the p0wer was off for about two hours while I was working on this journal, heavy thunder and lighting, I finally made it .

I may go a little slow today, and not write very much, to tell you the truth I don't have much.

Yes it's old Dad on this early Thursday morning, and I am still feeling very good for an old man, I always like my coffee early, and it should be Sumatra x bold to suit me, and while it is perking I like to go see Sara, Misty and Oreo, they are my friends and all I do is just click on Sara's Dog Training blog and Sara will tell me everything.

This is what my tomato garden looked like a few years ago, I wish that I could be doing that now but I don't think so, these 97 years have caught up with me. But I have no regrets, I have enjoyed those years and now feel the need to sit and dream about the past.

Would you like to make a guess as to what this is in the picture above , it is a rug made from Llama fiber.

WEDNESDAYS ENTRY TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTEEN

Good Morning .

I will need to introduce this beautiful Llama to some of you, but others of you have seen him before. His name is Levi and when you saw him he was a small Llama, I wrote a lot about him and his owner Laura who operated a hiking business in the Smoky mountains, it looks now like Levi is going to have to work to make a living. They do not live here now, they have moved just a few 100 miles west of us. I do keep in touch with Laura and David, they have been my friends for many years.Dad.

I don't usually post poetry this early, but it seemed so fitting, here it is with Dad's recommendation.

PRAYER.
I met God in the morning,
When my day was at its best;
And his presence came like sunrise,
With a glory in my breast.

All day long the Presence lingered,
All day long he stayed with me;
And we sailed in perfect calmness,
O'er a very troubled sea.

Other ships were blown and battered,
Other ships were sore distressed,
But the wind that seemed to drive them,
Brought to us both peace and rest.

Then I thought of other mornings,
With a keen remorse of mind,
When I , too, had loosed the moorings,
With the Presence left behind.

So I think I know the secret,
Learned from many a troubled way .
You must seek him in the morning,
If you want him through the day.
