Good Morning,

The encouraging thought and advice above is so good , true and something that you can depend on, what a comfort, today is all that we have to worry about, we trust in our heavenly Father for the future, He knows what tomorrow is going to bring forth, and he knows you and I, and I think that it says that “ He will not tempt us above what we are able to bare “ What a rest of heart.

We have not been using videos for our daily thought for some time, this one may not be top notch but you can expect better ones in the future, we are getting better prepared to do this.

I want to tell you that our bird baths will be bubbling in about two weeks, The one 0n Cam. # 2 will be lighted.

We will be having some of the best coffee that I have ever tasted in a very few minuets, it is of course Sumatra Starbucks x bold. It is good believe me , Sit, drink and smile.

Mary is feeling better and I am afraid that she is just taking on to much to soon. She was so busy yesterday and the rest of the week is pretty full, help me warn her, we sure do not want here in the hospital on her birthday February 5th. We want to be able to celebrate.

We are going to be in our Wednesday meeting this evening at 7:30 p.m. Our study is 1st Peter chapter 5. It will be in our home tonight.

I hope that you will look at our side panel, what would I ever do without it, it saves me so much work and gives you a lot more than I would ever think to tell you, so please go there often’

We will be at the Oxygen center on Thursday morning, and if we have a chance we will stop and bother you a little Sherry, run us off if we get in your way.

This is all that I have, Mary might have something to add, She and Prince are taking some much need rest.

I do plan to slip in here again in the morning if you will let me, remember if you want a big tomato around July the 4th you had be good to me. Just teasing.

DADS TUESDAYS ENTRY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED TWENTY THREE

‘’ I must have the Saviour with me, for I dare not walk alone “

Good Morning.

That is my thought for this and  ever day that I may have left, “ Must “ is a strong word, it don’t  say maybe you could make  it but you “ must “ have the Saviour with you.

In this cold, cruel, selfish world that we are in is going to be a struggle for us all, without the help of our Father above we can never hope to make it. The world, flesh and the devil are to much for us alone. The devil is out to destroy us,  and our flesh is called cruel so we “must” begin, continue and finish ever day with our Fathers presence very near, think about this it is a serious matter.

Would you like a little pit stop for something that might help keep us awake, as you  know this is all make believe  but some of us coffee lovers enjoy doing it, I have Sumatra x bold in the pot. You will be smelling it soon.

I have been reading about two men that are spoken about in the bible, Moses and Joshua. It is their ages at their death that impressed me. It said about Moses that he was one hundred and twenty years old, and it says that his eyes were not dim nor his natural force abated.

And is says about Joshua  died being a hundred and ten, and it says that Israel served the Lord all the days of Joshua.

Two very faithful men on the sunset side of life and still serving God and being a help in his kingdom, these thoughts inspire me to desire to keep on going to the last step of the journey, doing the little that I can do, trusting God every step that I take. Dad realizes that the health of all of us has something to do with this, but whatever comes across our path we can keep true in praying.

I hope that I have not bored you this morning with all this, when I get something on my mind it is a relief to talk about it---- Remember to “ Live for others “

DADS MONDAYS ENTRY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED TWE NTY TWO

Good Morning.

I am sure that you have heard me say is that I like Monday mornings, I like the thought of having a new beginning a chance to do better than I did last week, that is very merciful of God to give me another chance.

I am in a Happy mood this morning, and I have good reason to be, Mary is feeling much better, able to move around better, and even turned on here computer for a little while, we are just taking  things easy not rushing anything but you never know we might go out sometime this afternoon Thanks to all of you for your kind words that have come our way, true friend are priceless. DAD.

I want to tell you right here that Mary has a Birthday on February the 5th. DAD

Would you appreciate s cup of Sumatra Starbucks x bold coffee this time of the morning, you had better look at the time before you answer me, it is now 2:24 a m.

We do appreciate good coffee and I think that we have the best, and I have a lot of friends that agree with me I don’t  have very much to brag about when it comes to my education, only finished the 8th grade at Whites School , but I am a good coffee taster anyway. DAD

This is going to be all until I talk to Mary, she is taking some extra rest which I know is badly needed. Prince is with her and has been since she had the fall, he ran to her down the steps when he heard her cry and has been with her most of the time since.

I want to talk to her again before I give you a report.

I am missing her so much here in the office, I know that you can tell by these terrible entries on our blog.

I must tell you about Jim and Beverly and what they did for Mary and I yesterday, I really should just write another special blog to tell you about it, but I can tell you more as I go along, first they got here about noon and brought our lunch, and then the work started, as you know Mary had the fall and was not able to do any laundry and other cleaning getting things ready for Sunday morning meeting, well that is all done now. And Mary usually does all the grocery shopping,so Jim went with me to get our groceries for the weekend, I am just going to stop talking, I think that you get the idea, what would we have done without them. Thanks Jim and Beverly.

DADS FRIDAYS ENTRY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED EIGHTEEN

Good Morning.

I forgot to tell you that when Mary fell on Wednesday night, it was on the concrete floor in the basement so that made it worse. She is still dazed and hurts really bad. I promised to keep all of you updated on Mary's progress. It is going to take a lot of rest, her shoulder injury that was the worst is still very sore and painful, she is so sore that it is a real problem to dress. Very limited movement with her arm.We did get a pleasant surprise when we visited her dentist, he was able to do an extra good job on her teeth.

I am your friend, I try to always remember our coffee, and you don’t have to worry it is always the same Starbucks Sumatra x bold. Every morning as I write this I am wishing so much that it could be really true and not make believe , but its fun any way, and it could be true if you ever come close  Dads house, I have invited several of our friends to do that, Mary and I could meet you at a Starbucks store or you could come right here to Dads kitchen, that way you could meet Prince, that would make him happy.

You remember that I often say that my business is producing Tomatoes, Roses and Smiles, now Readers Digest what do you think of that. DAD

DAD’S WEDNESDAY ENTRY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SIXTEEN

Are you in a Happy mood this morning ? Oh, come on we need to be happy today. Dad

 

 

This is a silly question for me to ask, is it to early for coffee, I can hear you saying not if it is Starbucks Sumatra x  bold. Well I assure you that is what is perking, sit down and I will serve you in a very short time. But you must smile for me if you drink my coffee Dad.

Our local weather is looking real good, right  now at 12:38 a.m. the temp, is 45 degrees and no rain in sight,  but don’t count on that very long, it rains almost rains in the afternoon.

Mary and I have not thought of any plans yet for today except the fact that we will be in our Wednesday night meeting tonight, which will be at our  house at 7:30 p.m. The study is 1st Peter, chapter 4.

Mary and I have three outside Cameras that we are very proud of. CAM. 1,2 and 3, and we spend lots o time keeping these in good condition, because I think that they are the heart of our blog and all that we are trying to bring to you. Number 1  travels around every where showing you tomatoes and roses growing and it spends a lot of its time on old Dad showing him working on our blog, and drinking x bold coffee, maybe just a short nap. The other two are one looking south and one looking north from my office.

Mary and I are working on something that I believe that you will like, A little booklet called “ Poems That Touch the Heart “ These will be written from true happening  in the life of the writer, some of these bring tears to the eyes of the ones who wrote them, there will be three writers in on this, a few pictures will be shown.
