Dads Saturdays Entry Three Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Nine

I hope to find all my friends in a Happy mood this Saturday morning. For me this day reminds me that I can rest and relax over the weekend. I do not write a blog on Sunday. That is a day to get renewed in mind and spirit for the week ahead, you know all about the world, flesh and the devil.

It looks like that another good day is coming up, the weather has been so enjoyable for the last few days.

Here at Dads Tomato Garden at 1:26 a.m. eastern time we have 63 degree and a high of ninety expected.

My tomato plants arrived yesterday and if at all possible they will be looking at you Monday when you click on Cam. 2.

Dads Fridays Entry Three Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Eight

Good Morning.

Friday morning at 1:50 a,m. and I think that a cup 0f coffee would be nice

There are a few words that have been a great comfort to me for the last few days , they are these “ God is looking down from above and he know what is going on” He know all things, even when a sparrow falls from its nest, so I want to leave things in His hands knowing that he knows even the thoughts and intent of the heart.

One of our Ministers would say this sometimes and I liked it, he said “ When I take my bed at night, I let God take the night shift” and he would say all the medicine that I take is B.E.D. This man was a great help to the ones that he met in his 100 plus here on this earth.

Dads Thursdays Entry Three Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Seven

How are you feeling this Thursday morning, I want to do my job by bringing a little sunshine your way, I know that it is early, 2: 09 a.m. but that is a good time to start being full of pep and cheer, I do what I can to convince you that this is going to be a wonderful day, I have prepared a pot of coffee for you, now you take over from here.

We met with the Authors of our book last evening and things are looking good for “ Dad- The Tomato man” be watching the blog telling you it is there, Thank for your patience. Dad.

These beautiful days keep coming , today begins with 61 degrees, and I do not have the high yet. The street outside looks dry, and that is what I want to see right now, because the time is near for me to get those plants growing. I am so hungry for a good tomato sandwich with a little dressing please.

After a short trip to the bank my job is to spray and feed our roses, we did not add any more this year, the winter was good to us. They are covered with buds, I love roses. Dad.

The weather looks good, starting of at 61 degrees and another high of 90. I took a look out the office window and the streets are dry. Beautiful tomato growing weather, and that is my business teaching you what little that I know.

We are having another one of those wonderful spring days , as I look outside , for a change I do not see any rain and here at 4:42 a.m. eastern time we have a reading of 55 degrees and a promise of near 9o, what more could and Old 98 + tomato grower want, that is the best of conditions, and I am feeling good and ready to go.

Dads Mondays Entry Three Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Four

Good Monday Morning.

Some of you do not like Mondays, but I love them. My aim for this day is to spread sunshine and not gloom, I think that if we are Happy and cheerful it will spread to others, and like our smiles go all around this world, and remember there is no language barrier in smiles, thy are the same on the other side of the world as they are here, come on now lets make some one happy. Dad.

As you can see the make believe coffee is ready, same good brand as usually, sit down with Dad and tell me a few good things that happened over the weekend and I will serve you.

A good thought has been on my mind for a few days, and so fresh again this morning, it is this.

When things are going a little rough for you remember that “ God makes a way” a good example of this is this. When the children 0f Israel were fleeing the king and they came to the Red Sea they thought, this is the end, but God opened up a way for them in the sea.

I feel like I have had this experience in the past few weeks, and want to thank God for the help that He has sent, I feel so unworthy of this. DAD.

We have been having wonderful weather here at Dads Tomato Garden and it looks like another one today , we have a reading of 61 degrees and expect close to 90 for the day, this was at 2:32 a.m. eastern time.

That is wonderful weather for my tomato plants and they are going to be in the ground very soon.

DADS SATURDAY ENTRY THREE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETY THREE

“Time is so precious- do not waste it” Dad.

I have a new coffee maker this morning, but rest assured that it is the same coffee, so sit. sip, mediate and relax and of course Smile and I hope that we can have a nice little visit this morning, because I will not see you again until early Monday morning, I do not write a blog on Sunday anymore. We try to save that day for something more precious tha n blogs, something that will not pass away.

Our weather is still very nice except for a few to many showers for me, but I have that God knows more about this world needs than I do want to enjoy it, there is a verse in the bible that says “ This is the day which the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it “

So am going to be glad with what we have here at Dads Tomato Garden a 61 degrees to start and then near 90. what wonderful tomato growing weather, and I am ready to get mine started soon. I am getting hungry for one of those tomato sandwich, with a little mayonnaise on it, I will tell you that there is nothing else in this that will make you Smile like that. Dad.

Dads Fridays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Two’

Have a free cup of coffee on me this morning for all the trouble that I am causing you

I am so sorry that all this trouble has come up again this morning, I think that is gong to work but will be late.
I am O.K. and even able to smile, and in a good mood, so we will just go softly and try not to have to start over again.
The weather is nice, here at 8:35 a.m. eastern time we have a reading of 62 and we may get up to at lease 80 today.
We had a good day yesterday cleaned up a lot of undone things and had time to check on our roses, they are looking good, should be buds in a few days.
I had a good chance to try my new shoes a little more, and I am happy with them. Dad

I hope that we all are able to smile this morning, I think that I am, and after I sit down with you and visit and have a good hot cup of coffee I think that I can started of running.
I have already mentioned my shoes that I received when the doctor released me, well I wore them to the funeral of our friend last evening, I am really pleased, they are so easy on my feet and I do not get as tired in walking with them on.

Good Morning.

Would you like to share a cup of this coffee before we get involved in other things, well sit enjoy, and Smile. Dad

We are getting a good start on another nice day weather wise, a reading of 60 degrees an a predicted high of above 80, now that is my kind of weather, every thing is so beautiful here in East Tennessee every way that you look nothing but beautiful flowers and trees reminds us of new life springing up, nature is a wonderful thing, enjoy it. Dad.

An old hymn has been in my thoughts this morning, “ Does Jesus care” The course answers the question.

“ O yes he cares, I know he cares, His heart is touched with my grief

When the days are weary and the long night dreary, I know my Saviour cares.”

What a comforting thought.

My mood is both happy and sad this morning, happy because I picked my new shoes this morning that my doctor had made for me, real shoes and they do feel and look good, the first good shoes that I have on in several months, I may get proud, some of you say something to bring me down a notch or so.Dad.

Now the sad thing that has happened, a very good friend has passed away, we are going to her funeral at 5 p.m. today. She has been a very faithful woman through the years, never missing a meeting if it were possible to be there, some of her children always with her. All of us would like to finish like Ruby.

It looks like that we are going to have another nice day today. Here at Dads Tomato Garden we have a reading of 68 degrees and we expect a high of 80.
Nice day to be working outside, which I love to do.
Mary and I will be away from the office for a little while This morning, and it’s a trip that I have been wanting to take, they shoes that has been ordered for me are ready, ang I can get them this morning.

Mondays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Eight

Good Morning.

I think that a cup of coffee would be the thing to give us a little push off on this Monday, join me and Smile. Dad.
When I was a small boy, sitting with my Grandfather in his barn watching him hitch up old Pete and Rock for the days work he told me something that I have not forgotten during my short life. Here are his words and I have found this to just about the way it is. Dad
“ If you every need a helping hand in this world, the best place to find it is at the end of your arm “
How do you like that saying above, it made me smile. And I like to start the day with a Big Smile DAD
Of course we know that the help that comes from our Father in Heaven is the best of all, and it can be depended upon. Dad.
Another nice Monday coming up, we have a 66 to begin this day, and I think that it may reach 80 degrees at least this weather is making our Roses look good, I noticed a few just about to form some buds, wont be long until we will be smiling.
I know that there are a few of you who do not like Mondays , but I love them, I like to get out early Monday morning and begin to check my Wild Life Habitat , it usually needs attention after the weekend.
It will still be around two weeks before I get my plants in the ground, I am wanting some of that 80 degree weather when I do this.

This is the day that reminds us of relaxing ,restoring and refreshing. We have two meetings to enjoy on Sunday, one at 10 a.m. and another at 4 p.m. We hope to get help from above to keep us going on to the end of the journey, which may not be long for many of us. Dad.

It looks like another nice warm day, here at 1:57 a.m. we are pleased with this warm weather, I will be ready on April the 5th to get those plants in the ground, watch them grow on Camera # 2, I spend time down there every day when I have the time, sitting on the patio and counting my blessings. Dad.

Dads Fridays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Six

Good Morning.

This above is an all time favorite of mine I will remember it as long as I am in this world, it gives me serious thoughts which are good for me.

We had problems with our air conditioner yesterday, and yes the weather was hot, near 80 degrees , we thought that it was a usual call for freeon, Yes it was low $4,200.00 worth. We are having a new one installed this morning

Now what is an Old Man supposed to do in a case like this ? I guess you would hear these words “ Smile it could be worse “ and I think that they may be right, here is my SMILE . DAD.

Dads Thursdays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Five

Good Morning.

I am beginning this day in a very happy mood, and I don’t intend to let anything change that mood. Things just began to fall in place all at once. We were away from home yesterday for a while, and when we returned my friend Ted had my tomato ground ploughed and ready for Tomato plants, was I ever surprised. I am going to see to it that Ted gets all the tomatoes that he wants. Dad.

Have a cup on me. DAD.
I don’t intend to get the plants in the ground until some time after April the 1st. If you were me would you not Smile. Thanks Ted.
I hope that all of you are doing well and getting yourself ready to get to your work place with a smile on your face and not one complaint , remember we need the pay check, those bills will be filling our mail box very soon.
At 1:02 a.m. we have a nice warm 63 good weather to work outside in. And I do need to get out there early, there is much to do and I have scarce begun.

I promised you to write a shorter blog, and I intend to stick to it. You may have to help me, would you tell your friends about the Side Panel and other things that we talk about.

Dads Wednesdays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Four

Good Morning

I am running late this morning, but I am alright, had one of those busy, busy days on Tuesday. I think that I just took on more than I was able for.

I am in a happy mood even though a lot of sad news has come to me even this morning, I am just glad that I am still in the land of the living trying to cheer you on as long as I am able, and you know that for me the journey could be near the end, but I feel that I have enjoyed this short life, and I hope that I have sent a little sunshine your way. DAD

That Starbucks x bold sure looks and smells good, now pour yourself a cup, shut your eyes, and pretend that you are sitting next to Dad visiting and enjoying ourselves , now don’t you think that is a good way to get going this morning.

Dads Tuesdays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Three.

Good Morning.

“ What so ever a man sows that shall he also reap, if he sows to the flesh he shall reap corruption. But if he sows to the Spirit he shall reap Life Ever Lasting.

Well I do believe it is true because I have seen this in real life, Mary and I took a short drive yesterday after noon and in the center of the highway there thousands of yellow flowers, now some one had to put these bulbs back in the cold months and now beautiful flowers.

What if they had been planting briars, thorns and weeds what would we have today to look upon and enjoy. I have one true example of this (she would not want this said of her ) I saw her daily and she was always sowing seeds of Spring time, something for others to enjoy, not something to harm them.

I need to search my back pack every morning and get rid of those no go, harmful seeds, and have more of these beautiful flower seeds to sow along my way, I had better rush things up, there is not much more of the path left for this old 98 plus man to go. I never want to sow briars or thorns for my fellow traveler. Dad.

I have began to need this Starbucks x bold coffee, and I believe that all you coffee drinkers will agree with me, Oh why cant it be the real thing, but is is fun for me, each morning to think of some of you my friends who I would like to have right here enjoying this x bold with me. Dad.

We are having a nice morning this day a Temp. of 58, and I don’t know about this, our report here at Dads Tomato Garden says no rain, but I going to have to see that, I will let you know this afternoon. Dad.
