Time is so precious-do not waste it'

Good Morning.

I am in a very Happy Mood this morning.

So many good things happened to us yesterday that it would be hard not to be happy. The morning started off in a very bad way, it soon changed to things going our way. We were dressed to go for the Oxygen treatment and our car would not start, what do you do about things like that. We called our best friend Ted next door and he gladly provided us a car to drive for the day, I did not have to miss after all. That is a true friend, not one that talks and does nothing. DAD

Then things did go from good to better to best,. Mary soon had the car in service with a new batter from AAA and we were able to go again. Mary has needed a new kitchen sink for months well she has that now, and on and on through the day things worked real good. I have learned much from that day, when things seem to go wrong just settle your self down and things will be better, as one of our hymns says these things happen to us "To weans us from this changing world ". We do want to enjoy life and also help others to do the same. produce a few smiles as we plod along.

I am not going to say much more this morning as I am running a little late. Dad's Tomato Garden Problem Solver

This is one day that the most of us like, for me it is no more writing until Monday morning, just a couple days or relaxing and the great opportunity of being in two meetings on Sunday.

I want to make good use of the time and use it in the right way, because I realize more every day that time is running out for me.

Mary and I did go to Granger County to look at a few tomato farms, and we found one that we like very much. It is not the one that we visited last year, we sure do like this one better.

I don't think that Mr. Steve Longmire would get after me if I told you just a little about what we saw and enjoyed so much. He has every thing that you could wish for in a tomato farm, along with a lot of kindness from him and the lady that helped us. The name of his farm is Tennessee Home Grown Tomatoes, and it is located at 220 Chahokla Dr , Rutledge Tn 37861.

And we did not come away empty handed, we were looking for a few green tomatoes and he had plenty, also a box of red ripe tomatoes. Now guess what I am going to have on my table on Sunday.

If any of you are ever in this part of the world, do go by and see Steve, when you are on your vacation in the Smokies would be a good time. DAD

Today's weather report makes me smile. Dad.

Good Morning.

How are things in your part of the world this nice Friday morning ? We are doing very good, every things seems to be just falling in place, our tomato plants will be in their place in the morning, lots of labor but worth it.

Mix of sun and clouds. High 12C. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.

It is a little cooler this morning, but that hot weather will be back soon, I have tomatoes in the ground, and they need heat to grow.
