WEDNESDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUUAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY ONE .DAD'S

Good Morning.

I am coming to you full of Vim, Vigor and Vitality, do you want to join me ? We are going to have so much fun this week. You can see that I did sleep in a little this morning. As I write it is 6:25 a.am. I usually have about 4 hours of writing done by this time, Now it is going to be a little more relaxed life for me and I hope that you will be there with me.

The above caused me to think of something that happened in my young days, that was a long time ago. In one of my first jobs I worked a feed store and we sold a chicken feed called " Full of Pep " and there was a picture of two roosters fighting on the front of the bag, some of you may remember that feed, it was a good and popular feed. I would like to hear if you have.

I am not going to say more right now, just wanted you to know that I am here and in a happy mood, tonight is our Bible study night, our study is Colossians chapters 1=2 and 3.

I will be outside for a little while than back to the house to sit with Prince, I am not gone for good, I am as close as my phone 616-577-8495

Good Morning.

I hope that all of you are feeling good on this Wednesday morning. I am going to promise you one thing right here, I am not ever going to be as long as I was yesterday. It was just to much to enjoy. I hope that we can start the day right in a HAPPY mood, and keep that mood all the day long.

The weather is a little better here, no snow falling right now but some still on the ground. It is real hard to talk about tomatoes with snow on the ground, but I do have my plants ordered to arrive the first week in April. And that does make me Smile.

I started this Journal on August 28, 2003 for the main purpose of helping others produce a good home grown Tomato. Now I have added two more things Roses and Smiles. It is still my desire to do all that I can to help you. I will be glad for any comments or criticism. I appreciate all of my readers who have stayed with me through these years. Dad .

.Good Morning.

How are you doing this morning, I hope that all is well in your part of this wide world, I thought that I was in good shape, but now I wonder. When I am going to have a Video to show I always get it in here the night before, that is what I done last night, but when I began to work this morning it was gone. So I will have to make anothher one this morning, later in the morning. As it is said " If I did not have bad luck, I would not have any luck at all" DAD.

THE WINTER OF OUR LIVES.
..
It seems just yesterday that I was young, just married and embarking on my new life with my mate. And yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went.
I know that I lived them all...
And I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams... But, here it is..the winter of my life and it catches me by surprise... How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my youth go? I remember well...seeing older people through the years and thinking that those older people were years away from me and that winter was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like... But, here it is...some of my friends are retired and getting gray...they move slower and I see an older person now. Some are in better and some worse shape than me... but, I see the great change... Not like the ones that I remember who were young and vibrant... but, like me, age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we'd be....or close to it anyhow. Each day now, I find that just getting a shower is a real target for the day! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore...it's mandatory! Cause if I don't on my own free will..I just fall asleep where I sit! And so, now I enter into this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things that I wish I had done but never did!! But, at least I know, that though the winter has come, and I'm not sure how long it will last...this I know, that when it's over...its over....Yes , I have regrets. There are things I wish I hadn't done ,,,,,things I should have done, but indeed, there are many things I'm happy to have done. It's all in a lifetime....So, if you're not in your winter yet...let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life please do it quickly! Don't put things off too long!!Life goes by quickly. So, do what you can today, as you can never be sure whether this is your winter or not! You have no promise that you will see all the seasons of your life...so, live for good today and
say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember...
and hope that they
appreciate and love you
for all the things that you have done for them in all the years past!!'Life is a gift to you. The way you live your life is your gift to those who come after.
