DAD"S FRIDAY'S ENTRY THREE THOUSAND

Good Friday morning.

I am getting just a little later every morning to sit down to this keyboard. There is nothing wrong at all, I am feeling real good, even smiling as I drink this good x bold coffee. But I just think that it is good for me to do this. I have felt so much better since I started some of the changes that I have made.

I do appreciate all the patience that all of you have had with me, and all the good things that you have sent me me that I have been able to use in this journal, such as pictures, poetry and lots of other things. Without you I might not even be here today,

And at this later hour it is much easier to use this computer, it works so much better than it did when I was starting at around 2 in the morning.,

Today...5/20/11

Areas of patchy fog early. Partly cloudy with a stray thunderstorm. High 28C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 30%.

I do not think that the tomatoes have an reason to complain after looking at that weather report above. I know that I am going to be late this year but as you all know it was not my fault, but the hail that fell on my garden and wiped it all out.

Now we need to talk about money, it is something that we all must have a little off to survive in this short life. I just want to remind you business owners and any one that has any thing to sell that I am now selling space in this journal that is read all around this world. About the only thing that comes to us without effort is old age.

Old age is when you are able to sleep late, you are so old that you wake up early.

Old age is when candlelit tables are no longer romantic you are so old you can not see to read the menu.

We do not have very much planned for today, Mary is going to have lunch with some of her girl friends from South High School where they were in school together. They have stayed very close together since school days, and I think that is so nice that they love one another and want to be friends . DAD

When Mary gets home we plan to visit Grainger county, a county famous their early tomatoes, they are just a few miles east of us, I know several of these growers and I am going to try and bring a few green tomatoes home with me

DAD'S FRIDAY'S ENTRY TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRE NINETY FOUR

Good Morning to you on this nice warm Friday it looks looks like we are starting out on another hot morning, at 5:34 the weather is 68 and we expect to see plenty of Sunshine and maybe a high in the 80s.

Today...5/13/11.

Showers and thunderstorms late. High 27C. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

Partly cloudy with afternoon showers or thunderstorms. High 81F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

There is a good story about tomatoes in the Knoxville News-Sentinel today  DAD

Now it's up to these tomatoes to do their part, I and the weather have done all that we can do. Starting this journal a little later in the morning has been a great help to me, I am getting some of that morning rest that I have missed for many years

We had a very nice day yesterday, I am enjoying so much sitting 0n the patio down at the Tomato garde, and watching and listening to the birds and the fountain, what a wonderful place to relax and forget your troubles, they don't seem to be so many right now.

We had been looking for a few more of those Double Knock Roses, and we found them at a garden store in west Knoxville, so I guess that I will have the job of getting them where they belong.

Good Morning.

I do have one thing to tell you about my Wildlife Habitat, we have two Bird Baths in operation, they may be seen on Cam.# 2 and Cam. # 3. It is getting warm here in East Tennessee and I believe that the birds will be glad to have them, if not I am glad, I can sit for hours watching them, a good time to meditate, DAD.

Though I did not take this photo it was taken in approximately the same area by Enrique Pino and it may even be the same white pelican. They come from Canada for January thru March. Unlike the brown pelicans, these larger birds do not diving from the air for fish, they sat on top of the water and grab them."

Yes it's Dad here again on this friday morning, I am feeling very good this morning and you can say that my mood is Happy. I feel that the good sleep that I get each nighe helpes me a lot

.We have been haveing some wet weather here. It rained most of the day yesterday, the p0wer was off for about two hours while I was working on this journal, heavy thunder and lighting, I finally made it .

I may go a little slow today, and not write very much, to tell you the truth I don't have much.

I am feeling real good again today, had an exellent nights rest and I really am ready to face the conflict. That cup of coffee that I am enjoying right now is helping me.
