ENTRY # SEVENTEEN HUNDRED & SEVEN

Good Morning.

Time is so precious-do not waste it..

The sun never sets on Dad's Tomato Garden Journal..

The first thing that I want us to do is go to the Eagle Web Cam and let it take us right up to the nest and see how they are doing this morning, It has been very interesting the last few days to just watch them grow. Please don't miss them and also show them to your children.

The weather is still warm, and yesterday was a warm sunny day, it is starting that way again this morning. At 3 A.M. the temperature is 56 but they keep saying that it might rain. I was hoping to get a lot done in the tomato garden today but if it rains I will have to wait a few more days.
.
Mary and I did have a very busy weekend and we both feel a little tired, but time and those naps will heal that. We saw so many of our old friends, true friends for many years. We did enjoy visiting with them, it was so encouraging to talk to them. And we did make some new friends and we hope to keep in touch with them.

.

I have plenty of Starbucks coffee ready, and plenty of hot tea, stop in if you have the time this morning.
.
There are lots more things things for you to see over in my side panel, you can see for one Tennessee Granddaddy , and he will always make you think and smile. and the eagles and a lot more interesting things are there. DAD.

This book "Call Me Dad." makes a nice gift for any Dad, new or old. I am a 95+ great grand Pa and I ordered one of the books and I am enjoying it, it brings back so many sweet memories of the time when Jim and Mary were babies. Here is my thought for today.

" Cast me not off in the time of old age ; forsake me not when my strength faileth."

This is verse 9 of Psalm 71, the whole psalm is good.

ENTRY # SIXTEEN HUNDRED & SEVENTY EIGHT

Good Morning.

Would you think that I am silly if I said that I am glad that this is Monday morning, but I am. I thought that I would be all rested up by leaving off my regular entry on Saturday but it did not work that way .
.
I just could not settle down and relax like I would have liked to do. After all I have been trying to write this blog for nearly seven years, and I have not missed many times. So on Saturday I did not know what to do with myself. I am not going to try that again.
.
I just noticed that the count on the number of entries of this blog have just past 200,000. Thank to all of you Dad.

Sunday was a beautiful day with a high of 73 and a nice breeze blowing all day, and the breeze continuing into the night. The flag was very beautiful on the Cam. We hope that this Monday will be another good one, The temperature at 3 A.M. is 66 and more sun expected.

We hope that we will be getting our Cam for the tomato garden in soon, because it is not going to be very many days until we will be thinking about getting down to business The ground is ready and waiting on us. And I do hope that you can watch the Cam as we are doing this.

What would you think of a good cup of Tea or Coffee right now, well if you will sit down right over there I will have what ever you want in just a few minutes. I do need a smile this morning if you are able to give me one.

Laura has promised to send me a picture of Levi, he is my favorite Llama, If she don't send it soon I am going to slip up there some day when she is not home and take the picture myself. I have been there before and I believe that Levi would let me in.DAD.
