.DAD'S OUTDOOR WEB CAM # 2.
.
We hope that you will have time today to look at the two outdoor Cams above. They give you two different views of the tomato garden, the # 2 cams also gives you a good view of the bird bath. And we have this cam lighted at night. So when it is dark in Dad's tomato garden you will still be able to see the fountain. Try it out tonight and let me know what you think. DAD.
.

Sara has an interesting blog and she has given me permission to show it to you. Thanks Sara. DAD.

.
Watching her work with the beautiful dogs makes me want one. I have had dogs ( mostly Shelties) all my life but since I have become an old man I just don't feel that I can give another Sheltie the proper care. I still miss Scottie the last one that I owned, he was a good friend and companion to me. DAD..
.
Scottie
.
Sara after looking at your blog you have almost convinced me to get another Sheltie, what do some of you think about it?
.
.The tomatoes are at the point right now where it is a pleasure to watch them. You can almost taste that good tomato that you have been waiting for..These
links will show you Dad's Tomato Garden Album, view it and see how much that they have grown. It gives you a chance to compare the two years. Be sure that you use the slide show; much better pictures . DAD
.
.
We need to stop long enough to get us a cup of tea or coffee. It is ready and waiting and you are always welcome to stop in and visit with me a little while before you go to work. Dad.
.
Our weather in the Tennessee valley is just about the same, Hot and dry. At 4 a. m. this morning the temperature was 69 and we expect close to 85 for today. With no rain in sight for a few days. If the tomatoes can stand it I think that I can.
.
Here is my thought for today.
.
" The bird with a broken pinion never soared so high again, but it's song is sweeter."
.
this is from Apples of Gold.
.
This is going to be all for today. If I am spared for another day of life I hope to see you in the morning.

"Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare and serious disease.
.
Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness.
.
The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes I'll do it if it will save her."
.
As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheeks. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away?"
.
Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her."

The above was sent to me by Rilmich

Above is a video I made Saturday afternoon. If I sound funny it was because I was tired.

.

I am going to stop before I get throwed out, this is too long again. I will be back in the morning if all is well. I hope that your day goes good. OH I forgot to tell you about our tea and coffee it is ready. Maybe a cup of it will help it to be a good day. Smile if you possibly can. If you don't find what you are looking for here please look at my side panel, I have lots of interesting stuff there.
