How are you feeling on this nice Wednesday morning ? We should be feeling good, our weather has been perfect here at Dad's Tomato Garden, no rain again on Tuesday and the temperature went to 74, I hope that keeps up for a few days.
.
This morning we are starting out with a 57 , and near 80 for the day. I think we can make it with that kind of weather.
.
A good hot cup of tea or coffee would be nice right now, and you know what I have it ready, so sit right down relax and enjoy this little visit that we have each morning. I hope that you will be smiling.

DAD, I LIKE BLUEBIRDS. UP IN THE COLORADO MOUNTAINS BETWEEN WESTCLIFFE AND CANON CITY WAS MY HOME FOR A FEW YEARS RECENTLY AND THE BLUEBIRDS ARE PROLIFIC.MANY FENCE POSTS ARE LARGE AND HOLLOW AT THE TOP AND ALONG OLD WAGON TRAILS CAN BE SEEN AND HEARD THOSE BEAUTIFUL BLUEBIRDS.IN MY WORKSHOP WERE BUILT SEVERAL BLUEBIRD BOXES, SOME WERE GIFTS TO NEIGHBORS AND TWO FOR MY YARD. THE ONES IN MY YARD WERE MOVED INTO ALMOST IMMEADIATLY AND USUALLY HAD TWO BATCHES OF BABY BIRDS EACH SUMMER.WHEN THINKING OF NEIGHBORS IN A CITY, HOMES MAY BE WITHIN FEET, IN THE MOUNTAINS UP THERE THOUGH THE DISTANCE TO THE NEAREST NEIGHBOR COULD BE A FRACTION OF A MILE.MANY OTHER BIRDS WERE NATIVE ALSO AND THE YEARLY MIGRATING HUMMING BIRDS.HOUSE WRENS WERE THE SWEETHEARTS. FOR THEIR HOME IN MY YARD WERE HOLLOW LIMBS ABOUT THREE FEET LONG, ROCKS PLACED IN EACH END TO ALLOW NO ENTRANCE FOR LARGER BIRDS OR ANIMALS.I LEARNED TO FIX HOUSE WREN HOMES ATOP A ONE INCH DIAMETER WATER PIPE AND IT WAS ENTERTAINING TO WATCH THE GROUND SQUIRRELS ATTEMPTING TO CLIMB THAT WATER PIPE.READERS PROBABLY KNOW THAT HOUSE WRENS HAVE A VARIETY OF BEAUTIFUL SONGS, CLEARLY GIVEN.MAY GOD'S BLESSINGS BE ON ALL WHOM LOVE AND WORSHIP HIM. sam.

I do have some good news, the Eagle Cam is back, and I am glad to see it. We need to go up to Eagle Web Cam this morning when it gets daylight and see how they are getting along. I checked on them last night and it looked like that they had grown a lot.
.
Today, I will resist pessimism, and will conquer
the world with a smile and a positive attitude of always expecting the best.
.
Thanks to John C, for this above. Dad
.
Look over at the sidepanel on the right side and you will see Dad's Tomato Garden Album. Just above the Eagle. That is there all the time, but for a better and larger view go too the link below. Here is the link that will take you to

Here is my thought for this Wednesday.
" Life lived just to satisfy yourself never satisfies anybody."
and this one...
" There is no better exercise for strengthening the heart than reaching down and lifting some one up."
These thoughts are from Apples of Gold.
