GOOD MORNING DEAR FRIENDS EVERYWHERE,

And my mood is Happy and . I am smiling.

Well it's about all over and I hope that you got through it without too many bruises, Mary and I done very well, we just stayed close to home. We did enjoy ourselves , plenty of food and a chance to rest.

Now that it is over we need to get down to business again. While the coffee is perking and the water is boiling for the tea I want to talk a little about my new year resolutions.I am going to only talk about one. It's what good carpenters do in their work and it is a great help to them. " Measure twice and saw once."

This is of course in regards to my tongue. I have been guilty many times of talking before I think about what I am saying I need to think before I speak. James spoke of the tongue as an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

And what a wonderful thing the tongue is when it is under the control of God, how much we have enjoyed hearing others speak. I want to begin at once to Measure twice or more before I begin to talk, it may be hard but I am going to do my best to remember to do that. DAD.

If you are loking at the link Gatlinburg, TN Web Cam that is in the side panel, be sure and click on the picture twice after it comes up, that will enlarge the picture. Dad.

Pictured below are two of our back yard friends, and we do enjoy them so much. This this little fellow that you see below sets right outside my office window and watches me work.
