I hope that you are smiling this morning, even if it is monday. I am up and just about ready to get going. But I don't really feel the very best. The Coffee and Tea is just about ready and I know that you all are ready for it, I know that I am. That's GOOD.

I am going to park right here for a little while and have one more cup of coffee. Mary and I did have a plesant week end, everything went well. We were tired but happy, and that helped me get a good night of sleep.

Good Morning.

Sure enough it is Saturday morning, so you can sleep as long as you want too, all day will be alright with me, that is if you do not have one of those jobs that requires you too work.

I am going to prepare some tea and coffee anyway and if any of you want to stop by and see old Dad he will be happy to see you.

You know that it is a long time untill monday morning and I won't be back untill then.

Mary and I have been invited to have lunch with Don and Martha after our sunday morning meeting, and I think that our friends from Canada Barrie and Audrey will be there, and maybe another one or two. We will enjoy it very much.

No we did not produce the tomatoes in the picture above, Mary saw them in the grocery store today while she was shopping and she always thinks of Dad when she sees tomatoes. They are petty but I have already tasted them and they are not anything like our own. We have them beat by a country mile

I always have four boxes ready and they are used most years two times.

GOOD MORNING,

I love Friday mornings, even if we do have to work today we can think about tomorrow and Sunday.And I am sure that we all have a lot planned for Sunday.

We do have something good happening to us on Sunday, our two good friends who live in Canada, Barrie and Audrey are coming to see us. They will be in our Sunday morning meeting. They usually come twice each year but this year they did not get to come in the spring because of sickness. We will be very glad to see them.

.

They are the ones that make maple syrup, from the sap out of the tree, a lot of work until it is in the jug, and It's good. Mary and I have had a lot of pancakes using it. I have had their picture in my blog a few times.

GOOD MORNING,

Well how are you doing on this Thursday morning ? I think that I am doing alright, it's a little to early to tell you right now. I will let you know for sure after I have had a cup of coffee.

Now I have had one cup and that helped a lot, maybe one more will do the job, I sure don't want to be going around here this morning without a smile..........I would like to be kind to everyone that I meet today.

And I do have plenty of tea and coffee ready if you want to stop in, but do come early if you can.

I won't have time to say too much, Mary has a doctor appointment at 9:30 a.m. and we need to leave for that at 8:30.

We are waiting patiently for Google to replace the Blog that we lost, no luck yet but they tell us that they are working on it. The main reason that we are wanting it back so much is because we need to finish the side panel on the present one. We have a great number of favorite link of a lot of you that we want to get there as soon as we can. I sure don't want any of you to think that I have forgotten you. I could never do that.

ENTRY #FIFTEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-FIVE

GOOD MORNING,

I am feeling good this morning, what about you. I did sleep good last night and I believe that after I get a cup of that STARBUCKS that I can handle any thing that might come up. I might even smile.

There is a Starbucks located close to where Mary and I live, so we decided to stop in yesterday afternoon, and we sure did enjoy our time there. Everyone there was so nice to us, we had a cup of coffee and a piece of some kind of cake.

The Starbucks that we visited is location at 10646 Chapman Hwy. That is the road leading out of Knoxville, to the Smokies.( Highway # 441 South ) If you should be going to the Smokies you would pass right in front of it; if you should come this way call Dad and Mary and we will meet you there and share a cup of coffee with you. DAD

They do have the wireless service there so believe it or not I started my blog there. That must be a first for me. And below is a short video that Mary made of me.

Please don't make fun of me, I was real tired when this above was made. I had worked outside the most of the morning. If Starbucks will ever let me come back again I will try to do a better job. But what can you expect out of a 95 year man any way.

I have been ask by several of you why I get up so early. Well I have more than one answer. One is that I love the early morning quietness. After the rush of the day begins it's hard to even think, and I do love to sit a little while each morning and just think of good things that have come my way, even the fact that God has let me see the light of another new day.

And another one is that I have a few readers "across the pond'' as one of my readers put it who are in a different time zone than I am, 5 hours earlier and they like to have a cup of hot tea and a smile before they leave for work. So here it is friends, sit and enjoy. Dad.

Good Morning,

Do I dare to ask you how you are this early in the morning, especially Monday morning ? But I will tell you that I am out of my bed, just feeling fairly good. I am sill a little tired, it takes an old man longer to get rested up than it dose a young person. You will find that out someday when you get there

But though I'm tired it's still good to be here. We had a very good sunday morning meeting, a few were not able to be here because of sickness, and we did miss them. Then after the meeting was over Mary and I had a good old country cooked dinner here at home. These fancy restaurants are alright but I dont think that they come up to Dad's Restaurant, and the prices are so much highed. But we do visits those places a lot and enjoy them.
