This is Jim writing.
Dad is having computer problems and has been unable to make a post today. He tells me he may need to buy himself a new computer. So if he does not get his old one working, it may be a few days before he has a post. I’ll keep you posted.
I’ve talked with him a couple of times today. He is doing good, He had a good morning at the Hyper Baric Oxygen Therapy and is looking forward to the Bible Study meeting tonight.
A Child's View of Thunderstorms
A little girl walked to and from school daily. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning.
The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school. She also feared the electrical storm might harm her child. Full of concern, the mother got into her car and quickly drove along the route to her child's school. As she did, she saw her little girl walking along.
At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile. More lightning followed quickly and with each, the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile
When the mother drew up beside the child, she lowered the window and called, "What are you doing?"
The child answered, "I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture."

It is about time for me to think about that good Oxygen treatment that I get five days each week, it is doing wonders for me, and I don't want to miss it, Thanks Dr Hall and every one of your staff for their Smiles and Kindness to me, Oh I was going to ask you, what is your mood for this day?

I am in a Happy mood this Monday morning one of the reason is that I am so glad to be in the land of the living, and another one is that I am feeling good and I want to get outside and do a few things that have not been done yet, and winter time is upon us.
I am also anxious to get back in that Oxygen Treatment, it seems a long time since Friday. Dr Hall what kind of a mood are you in this morning ? It had better be HAPPY when I call Sherry telling her that I am in the parking lot the first question that I have will be about your mood. I will just have to face what ever it is I think because I cannot miss that Oxygen this morning, I feel the need of it. DAD
It is amazing what the Oxygen has done for me, even the nurses that visit me at my home are afraid that are going to loose their job.
I sure hope that does not have to to happen, they all are sweet and kind to me when they visit me, but I do want to get well, and there will be others coming on that they can serve as they have me. I will say that they are one group of sweet ladies, please tell the next one that come to you home what DAD said.
I told Mary the other day that if the smiles and kindness that I receive from all of you was all I received here, not even any Oxygen the trip would be worthwhile, I would still come. Smiles and Kindness are healing. DAD.

Good morning.
I have a Happy mood today for many reasons, ones is that I am writing this journal to be read on two days, Saturday and Sunday, I do not write any more until Monday morning, that does mean very much to me, it means some relaxing ,rest and renewing because of our Sunday morning meeting, I could not make it without that meeting, I don't like to miss meetings. Then I will have something to say on Monday, if I can come up with something interesting.
I do miss the Oxygen treatment on these week ends, we only go 5 days, we will be back there early Monday morning. I am afraid that Dr Hall is going to kill me, that is kill me with kindness. His staff has went all out for me always very kind and smiling when I see them. DAD.
Our schedule is not very much for this day, mostly resting and preparing our meeting room, and of course a nap or so with our buddy Prince.
It is still cool here 40 degrees at 4:15 a.m.

I am in a very Happy mood this Friday morning.
I have a good reason to be happy,and I will tell you just a little of it. I have not said very much lately about Smiles and Kindness, well I experience a lot of that on Thursday.I experienced more than I deserve.
It was at the Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment that I enjoyed this, from the time that I enter until they place a blanket around my shoulders and sent me home. It was a cold morning and I did appreciate that warm blanket and seeing big smiles as I drove away, now what do you think of that. Thanks Dr. Hall and every one that is on your staff, I wish that I could mention every one of them by name, They all deserve a Big hug.DAD
Here is a little story my father told me when I was a little boy that I have remembered all these years .
There was a man that had a large farm in our part of the country, He needed to chop down a tree that was on the very back side of his farm, he walked all the way back there and discovered that he had forgot to bring his axe. His answer was " Well you can't expect a man to remember every thing."

As for myself I am feeling that I am ready for the day. I have no complaints.
I do need to stop and get dressed for my Oxygen treatment, I feel the need of it this morning.

Note: It is now 2:10 p.m. and I am home. The Oxygen treatment went well, I feel better by being in the treatment, and another thing I received the same smiling service, our companion taking care of us was more than nice and always a smile on his face for the two hours that we were together. Doctor you should be proud of your staff. Tell them Dad said so. DAD

Are you surprised I am in a happy mood.
In spite of the few set backs that we had yesterday, none were very bad and soon passed away as they usually do,and we do hope for a good day today.
Our crowd was very small for our Wednesday night meeting, the weather was rainy and cool. One thing that we heard about was the danger of loosing our first love, that was a warning to me.
Good health is better than money, I am glad for the thought, because I do not have very much money. DAD
We do not have very many plans for today, we could drink a cup of that Sumatra x bold coffee while we think about it.
One of our plans is to visit one of our good friends Heather, we have know her for a few years and we do appreciate her advice in many things.
After that I will take part in the Oxygen treatment, then home to have a short nap with my buddy Prince
I will be here Friday if God has mercy on me.
