WEDNESDAY's ENTRY # TWO THOUSAND & TWO.
.
" Time is so precious-do not waste it.".
.
" Wasted years will come again no more."
.
"Many years of life are wasted living for thyself alone.".
.
I hope that all of you are feeling good this Wednesday morning. I am trying to get started but it is a struggle for me. So much happens in all of our lives that causes us too worry and fret. I am so Thankful for our Heavenly Father the one that we can go to at any time for help and comfort. And I don't forget all of my friends here on this earth, you all help this Old Man to keep plodding on.
.
Many years ago I first heard this thought. " Smile and the world smiles with you, weep and you weep alone." I don't really agree with that. I feel like in all my past life I have never had to cry alone. There have always been my friends to cry with me, and what a comfort that has been. Dad.
.
Good morning Sara. I am going to your Sara's Dog Training blog a little late today but I will be there, I never miss. I must see Oreo and Misty before I get started to work. And I want to tell you how much I liked the video of Misty getting in on some of that training. She looked so proud, and I am proud her. I love MISTY. DAD.

.
Organic tomato growers and consumers are extremely conscious about receiving an organic, chemical free supply of tomatoes. These products contain natural, organic organisms (the main ingredients are OMRI listed). These organisms are certified as non-pathogenic and natural (NO GMO), not genetically modified. Reduce hazardous chemical use in farming with natural, biological soil amendments and root treatments. Beneficial bacteria and fungi are a probiotic for the soil!contact us @ http://www.biggertomato.com/ I hope that you will look at this, it might make you smile this spring. Dad.

Your friends never expect you to pay for lunch, dinner, or anything else for that matter.
When it’s raining, you can lie around the house all day and never worry about being fired.
You can wear a fur coat and no one thinks you’re insensitive.
Having big feet is considered an asset.
If you gain weight, it’s someone else’s fault.
No one tells you to wipe your nose because it’s wet.
No matter where you live, you own the place.
Your mate never complains because you whine.
Puppy love can last.
An aged farmer and his wife were leaning against the edge of their pig-pen when the old woman wistfully recalled that the next week would mark their golden wedding anniversary."Let's have a party, Homer," she suggested. "Let's kill a pig."The farmer scratched his grizzled head. " Gee, Ethel," he finally answered, "I don't see why the pig should take the blame for something that happened fifty years ago."
A few days ago I was looking at one of 'Oh Ya'-Ma's blogs and I was impressed by what I saw. So I wrote Ma and ask her if I could show them to you, and of course you know what she would say. I am going to let her tell you in her own words. DAD.
I would consider it a blessing to share my links. My hope is to brighten someones day somewhere along the way.
So often people just need a kind word to make a difference and I do try to do that.
My faith, my family and home are the important things in my life. Keeping in touch with my family was the main reason I started jouraling back on AOL so many years ago now. By sharing my good times and sometimes not so good, maybe I can help someone else too.
You are very inspiring to me each day sharing all those SMILES.

ENTRY # EIGHTEEN HUNDRED & SEVENTY TWO
This is Scottie the SHELTIE that called Dad's home, his home for 12 years, He was the last Sheltie that I owned. I will never forget him. The things that Edgar said in his poem below were so true with Scottie. He was always by my side. He loved to play with his tennis ball and I have the ball here on my desk . His grave is near the base of the flag pole. next too Princess's grave. You may view the sight on Dad's Cam # 1, Sweet Memories. DAD..

When you were born, you were crying And everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, You're the one who is smiling
And everyone around you is crying.
.
A Boy and His Dog.
.
By Edgar Guest
A boy and his dog make a glorious pair:No better friendship is found anywhere,For they talk and they walk and they run and they play,And they have their deep secrets for many a day;And that boy has a comrade who thinks and who feels,Who walks down the road with a dog at his heels.
.
He may go where he will and his dog will be there,May revel in mud and his dog will not care;Faithful he'll stay for the slightest command And bark with delight at the touch of his hand;Oh, he owns a treasure which nobody steals,Who walks down the road with a dog at his heels.
.
No other can lure him away from his side; He's proof against riches and station and pride;Fine dress does not charm him, and flattery's breath Is lost on the dog, for he's faithful to death; He sees the great soul which the body conceals--Oh, it's great to be young with a dog at your heels! .
.
.
I enjoy so much reading any poem that is by Edgar Guest. The one above is one of my favorites. It tells how loyal a dog is to his master, and the ones of us that have owned dogs know that this is so true. I know that Sara would say that it is. I did think of Misty and Oreo when I was reading this. We need to look at them again this morning. Meet me there and smile with me, Sara's Dog Training DAD.
.
The best kind of friends, are the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, Never say a word,
And then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. .
. .
.I have been thinking a lot about tomatoes, I know that it is a little early, but I like to plan early, Here below is something that someone said, I do not know who it was, it is good.
.
" More than any other fruit or vegetable, the tomato has changed the face of modern cuisine. Whether you toss chopped tomatoes into a beef stew, slide a few slices into a BLT, or layer them with their soul mate, basil, tomatoes have become ubiquitous."
.
Plenty of sunshine. High 73F. Winds light and variable.
