I hope that all of you are feeling as good as I am this morning, I had a wonderful sleep, and now I feel refreshed, renewed and ready to go out and Get'em. I will be working some today, you might see me on Cam #1 some time during the day in the tomato garden. Dad

After the storm passed through. the weather is the most talked about thing here. it was a litte worse than I had first thought, in the flooding that followed some were trapped on the roof of their car. It is much better around here now, tuesday was a wonderful sunny and we hope for another to day.

Good Morning.

We had a thunder storm that had been predicted pass through Dad's tomato garden yesterday, A lot of water fell here, a little over 2 inches. there was some flooding near us, but not dangerous Mary and I had to go to the drug store and the driving was not easy. Here below is the weather for today at 3 a.m. looks like no rain today

Because of the weather I was not able to look after these. Cams. as I usually do, I will be back on the job this morning, the birds and squirles will think that I have give up my WildLife Habitat no I have not, you will see me this morning just as soon as the sun comes up over the hen house.

I was thinking this morning about this tomato producing business being world wide, There is a tomato growing season goning on somewher in this world, some may be just sowing seed for their plants and others in another part of the world may be eating a delicious tomato sandwich. I would like to think that some of you. far away from me are useing the information tha I have brought together. I am going to stop and have a cup of x bold, maybe it will calm me down so I can get to work. I may not be able to do much, a heavy thunder storm is headed this way, expecting 2 inches today.

THURSDAYS ENTRY # TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR

Good Morning.

Mary gave me this a few days ago http://people.howstuffworks.com/swanson-dinner.htm and it sure did bring back some pleasant memories, because I had a littl part in this business, I personaly knew the two Swanson brothers and they visitied me one time. This was in 1953. I think that the first product was a chicken pie, and soon they added turkey pie, beef pie and then a complete dinner. my brother Howard and I were in business and we sold the first frozen chicken pie ever sold in Knoxville. This was something new and it a good sales person to sell them, but we got the job done. DAD.

This is a beautiful day here at Dad's Wildlife Habitat, bright sun and here the tempeature is 51 degrees. I am feeling good today, a Happy mood and not one thing to complain about. DAD.

Today is the day that Mary goes to Vanderbelt in Nashville,My son Jim and his wife Beverly are taking her , They are making it a one day trip, they will be back early this evening. I am not going, Prince and I will be here having a restful day.

The Weather comes next, all tomatoe growers like to keep up with the prediction, it means a lot to their progress.

TWO DAYS. first day.

There scarce seemed time that morn to pray
With so much work that I must do,
So with just a pause at the throne of Grace
A prayer I hurried through.
But Oh! What a wearisome day it was
How heavy my heart and my feet,
So lonely without the presence of God-
His fellowship so sweet.

I came to the close of the weary day
To think of the end of it all,
How much would be mine of what I had gained
When I would hear death's call.
For all that I will claim as my own in that hour
When eternity's dawn I see

SECOND DAY

A new day dawned and a hope with it came-
The hope of beginning again.
I sought His face and He heard my cry,
My pathway He made plain.
He touched my heart and spoke afresh to me
Of His Fatherly love and care,
Gave a vision again of things worthwhile
That could be mine to share.

There was just as much work to be done that day-
I was glad for a chance to rest.
The evening came and it's sinking sun
Was hidden in the west.
But I'd walked that day with a lighter step
From a burden of care set free,
A song in my heart of a Father's love
