DADS THURSDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED TWENTY ONE

Good Morning

I would like to find out about  my friend the first thing this morning. I am hoping that all is well at your spot on this world. I am still feeling good but I will tell you more  after I have had a cup of that good coffle. And read this weather report below.

Today

Afternoon thunderstorms. High 31C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%.

Partly cloudy early followed by scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. High 89F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%.

We did get a few things done yesterday  that have been neglected. We now have red mulch and you should see signs of it around our roses and two plants  at each side of the ramp..

We used this poem  below a few week ago  and this morning I felt the need of being reminded of it again DAD

                                                PRAYER.

I met God in the morning,

When my day was at its best;

And his presence came like sunrise,

With a glory in my breast.

All day long the Presence lingered,

All day long he stayed with me;

And we sailed in perfect calmness,

O'er a very troubled sea.

Other ships were blown and battered,

Other ships were sore distressed,

But the wind that seemed to drive them,

Brought to us both peace and rest.

Then I thought of other mornings,

With a keen remorse of mind,

When I , too, had loosed the moorings,

With the Presence left behind.

So  I think I know the secret,

Learned from many a troubled way .

You must seek him in the morning,

If you want him through the day

    Good morning DAD.

    It has been a hot few days here. The rain last night cooled things down, but prevented us from going to agility class. We'll try again next week.

    The dogs are staring at their leashes, waiting to go for a walk, so I better get going!

    Good morning DAD...

    You make us smile each day by just writing a blog with colorful photos, inspirational poems and prayers, and telling us you are inn s good mood, ready to face another day. As my sister would say, you have positive energy.

    Sara says it has been hot. It has been hot in the afternoon but the mornings and evenings have been pleasant. I am enjoying these summer mornings drinking coffee on the patio and reading the paper. Can I pour you a cup?

    I bet you grounds look lovely with the red cedar mulch. Do take time to relax and enjoy the views and sounds of nature. Watch out for the hogwood plant that is invading our area. Have a peaceful day. ...Sara's Mom

    Dear Dad, Ms. Mary, and sweet, stripey Prince:

    Love the video of the two adorable tiger kittens biting each other's tails, Dad ;) My baby Su does this all the time -- to her OWN tail, and growls while biting! That's a very ornery tail...

    Also love the poem -- it is so very true; just like breakfast is the meal that powers your day, so early morning Prayer also empowers and focuses on the important, in preparation for these days we all have to deal with.

    Wishing you all love and PURRS, and SMILING! ;)Jamaka and fams <3
