Dads Tuesdays Entry Two Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Three.

Good Morning.

“ What so ever a man sows that shall he also reap, if he sows  to the flesh he shall reap corruption. But if he sows to the Spirit he shall reap Life Ever Lasting.

 

Well I do believe it is true because I have seen this in real life, Mary and I took a short drive yesterday after noon and in the center of the highway there thousands of yellow flowers, now some one had to put these bulbs back in the cold months and  now beautiful flowers.

What if they had been planting briars, thorns  and weeds what would we have today to look upon and enjoy. I have one true example of this (she would not want  this said of her ) I saw her daily and she was always sowing seeds of Spring time, something for others to enjoy, not something to harm them.

I need to search my back pack every morning and get rid of those no go, harmful seeds, and have more of these beautiful flower seeds to sow along my way, I had better rush things up, there is not much more of the path left for this old 98 plus man to go. I never want to sow briars or thorns for my fellow traveler. Dad.

I have began to need this Starbucks x bold coffee, and I believe that all you coffee drinkers will agree with me, Oh why cant it be the real thing, but is is fun for me, each morning to think of some of you my friends who I would like to have right here enjoying this x bold with me. Dad.

We are having a nice morning this day a Temp. of 58, and I don’t know about this, our report here at Dads Tomato Garden says no rain, but I going to have to see that, I will let you know this afternoon. Dad.

Now what about your mood, you know that what you start with in the morning you will most likely have all the day, husbands when you leave for work this morning give your wife a hug and tell her that you love her. we never know what could happen to either of you during the day. Dad

These two things will always stay with me as being so true, let us not soon forget them,but seek to do them our selves.

I am going to stop right here, get a cup ox x bold and then maybe a nap with prince he is waiting right here for me to do that.

Good Morning DAD..

Your analogy of a sower of flower seeds to the sower of a good life is a excellent one and well explained. What a beautifu, peaceful world this would be if all people were sowers of good.

I was excited about an egg in the nest and went to visit Norfolk's Nest. I think it may have been a fish you saw because no egg but a well covered fish hidden in the nest. Perhaps food for later in the day.

I got a lot of outdoor work done yesterday and now I wish I had done more because today is not as lovely as yesterday..a bit too windy for me. The front step looks so bare without the boughs of pine and holly and it is too early to fill the basket with pansies...I haven't even seen them for sale up here. My daughter in NJ had daffodils and crocuses in bloom. Aren't Spring flowers the happiest looking with their pastel colors and smiling petals? Only once have I seen a patch off the road with thousands of daffodils all in bloom and it was a spectacular sight. I was in awe as you and Mary must have been yesterday. I hope Mary came home and wrote a poem that she will one day share with us.

Dear Dad, Ms. Mary, and sweet Prince:

That must have been a beautiful sight, all those yellow flowers, Dad! Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers (as well as being my birth month flower). You've given so many people and other living beings so much pleasure with your roses and your Wildlife Habitat :) I'm sure you have earned a nice nap with sweet, warm Prince, or maybe just a relaxing time reading and drinking some coffee. Wishing you all a wonderful afternoon/evening and sending love and PURRS from Jamaka and fams <3
