It is a very sad news that I have to tell you.

Our sweet little cat Princess passed away yesterday afternoon around 3 p.m. Mary and I were both with her when she died. It was a very hard,sad, and trying time to see her go.
...
If you look at the Cam. today you can see her grave, it is at the base of the flag pole.
...
I will tell you more in my regular blog on Monday morning. We do want to thank all of you that sent us so much comforting comments, friends are wonderful.

SAD SPECIAL ENTRY

Good Evening

Mary and I are very sad and lonesome tonight. Our little precious friend Princess passed away at 3 P.M. today. If you are looking at the Cam you may see her grave at the foot of the Flag Pole.

We will tell you more tomorrow.

The fruits have a very large beefstake shape and grow on unusually upright, potato-leaved plants. The color is an appetizing shade of red-pink. The fruits set one or two per cluster and ripen late.But at summer's end, Brandywine's qualities really shine when it develops an incredible fine, sweet flavor. I saw Princess early this morning. She seems to be holding her own. She is in my opinion is still a very sick little cat. She did eat and drink a little more yesterday and her breathing was some better at times. And she does sleep soundly when she sleeps. We will keep you posted over the weekend. Thanks for your interst in her, she apprecates all those comment that she is getting. DAD.

The tempeature here at Dad's Garden this morning at 3 a.m. was 48, and I think that we are going to see a little sun today, tomato time is drawing near. My garden spot and I are waiting for just a little longer. We want the tempeature to be right. And one good thing Burpee won't send the plants untill the time is right I am glad for that.

The tea and coffee has been ready a long time I just forgot to mention it. Hop on in here with that big smile on your face , and you already know that I do not likes frowns.

There have been a lot of improvements made on web page DAD'S TOMATO GARDEN look at it if you have the time. DAD

The day that we like the best is here, and I think that it is going to be a nice one. Yesterday was real nice, the high was 60 here at Dad's Tomato Garden, and we had a brisk wind blowing most of the day . And
this morning we have a temperature of 41. The flag was beautiful. ( You can view the flag at night now, I have it lighted fairly good, but I am still seeking improvements.) The link to the cam is on the side panel.

If you don’t know, haiku is a Japanese three line poem with exactly seventeen syllables. The first line contains five syllables, the second has seven, and the third has five again.

Good Morning.

At 3 A.M. this Thursday morning the temperature is 55 just about the same that is was Wednesday which was 56. We had lots of strong wind yesterday and a thunderstorm in the late afternoon. We are looking for some sunshine today and a high in the low 60's.
..
There is not very much change in Princess, she is still a very sick little cat, she is not able to eat or drink very much. We are doing every thing that we possibly can for her. We will keep you posted today and let you know how she is doing. Thanks to so many of you that wrote about her yesterday. Mary & Dad.

We are working on an album using pictures that we have taken in the past years of Princess, this is just a start.

If you were looking a few days ago you would have seen Ted getting my tomato garden spot in shape. This year he done an excellent job. I was sitting here in my office and could see him working hard. Now that is the way it is going to be when I get those Burpee tomatoes in the ground, you may sit in your easy chair and watch them grow from start to finish.

We are sad this morning, Princess is very sick, She has been sick for a few weeks and don't seem to improve any. We are giving her the very best of care. We will keep you posted on how things go, but it don't look good. Most of you know Princess, she is our little cat, and she is known by many around the world. DAD

We had a good day yesterday, the temperature was near 70, and no rain. It is causing me to think spring. And I am glad. I noticed several Eastern Blue Birds looking around and checking on the boxes, they are cleaned out and ready for them.

The temperature at 3 a.m. is 56 and it will be near 70 today.

If you were looking at DAD'S OUTDOOR WEB CAM yesterday afternoon you would seen Ted getting my tomato garden spot in shape. This year he done an execellent job. I was sitting here in my office and could see him working hard. Now that is the way it is going to be when I get those Burpee tomatoes in the ground, you may sit in your easy chair and watch them grow from start to finish

But if you want a bag full of them you will have to get up and come down there, nothing has been invented yet that will bring them to you, but it might happen sometime. Just think of all that has happend in the last 50 years'

I have not mention anything about our Tennessee weather yet. Wnen I walked into my little office the tempeature was 61. And I think that we may get a little sun again today. Yesterday was a beautiful day and I did get a lot done.
