DADS THURSDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY EIGHT

Good Morning.

How would you like a beautiful  fountain to begin witn. Why can't my two fountains look like this ?

That weather reports looks better to me, almost warm enough to sit on the patio for a spell, that is if I had the time. I have never been this busy in my 98 years of life, it seems that I just can't get thing to slow down, and I am to old to to rush I might stumble.

I have a link to an Oxygen Therapy that I have become involved in that is very time consuming but very helpful, I have misplaced the link, when Mary comes in I will get it. I am sure that you will enjoy it, you might even want to try it. DAD

Now I need to ask about my friend, you are the one that is important to me. I hope that you are feeling good and able to get to your job, remember now we have bills to pay, and that includes old Dad, he has to keep on the ball to keep things going, but Mary and I are happy even though we may not have very much of this worlds good, we hope that we can lay up something where moth and rust cannot destroy.

    DADS WEDNESDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY SEVEN

    Good Morning.

    I need to repeat heavy rain again  this Wednesday morning, and it looks like more before the week is over. It is slowing down my outside work, but I can catch up soon as I am feeling so much better and I am not afraid of work, why I can lay down right by the side of it and fall fast asleep. Dad

    We promised you to be back soon yesterday, but we were not able to keep that promise, we found a few thinks that we could do while we were out that had been hanging long enough, and the were profitable so we thought now is the time, " Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow" Now wait a minuet that don't sound right, but I kindly like it.

    • If some of you readers would take every thing that I have said up above and run it through a strainer or sifter for me, and get it to where it makes sense, it seems to be all mixed  up, I know that you will help me Dad.

    I am supposed to be producing Smile right now, the rose and tomato season is over, but I don't have even a little grin for this day, all that I have done is let you know is that I am still here, feeling content, happy and relaxed.

    Our mid week bible study is at our house tonight. Our study is Colossians chapters three and four. There are some important reading in the first few verses of chapter three. DAD

    I must stop with this, it is enough. I left 0ut a lot, some about advertising , Vic's books, and a lot of other things, but they can wait, there will be another day, and I realize more every day that money is not everything.

    Good Morning.

    With weather like we have experienced in the past few days you can see why we would be interested in the weather report above, as I look out my office window I can see the rain coming down very hard, when it is going to come to a halt ?

    Mary and I are going to be out off the office for a little while this morning, we sure do dread driving in that heavy rain. Nothing wrong just a little business to take care of, all is very well at Dads house. No complaints. We are happy and content. DAD

    DADS MONDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE

    Good Monday morning.

    Today

    Cloudy with periods of rain, some heavy early. High around 75F. Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph. Rainfall possibly over two inches

    RAINY DAY

    I usually call these Monday mornings the best morning of the week for me, but not this one, the first thing is it is a holiday-Labor Day, and things are going to be very quite around. I get lonesome . and the weather that you see above, over two inches of rain and only 75 is the high for the day, this is all from the tornado. My feeble plans for today were to sit on the patio and enjoy the wildlife passing by, now you may find me taking a nap with Prince.

    Mary also had plans for today, she has been working so hard for the past  weeks, so she is planning to go to Pigeon Forge and take a little break and maybe a little shopping. I don't know if this weather will change her mind or not.

    DADS SUNDAY MORNING ENTRY THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY FOUR- A

    Good morning to you, just a short note to say that I am up and feeling good and looking to have a good day. Mary and I will be in our Sunday morning meeting and then lunch at home, and we hope to spent the after noon with Prince. I may sneak in a short nap if I can hide some where.

    Today is one day that we can get refreshed , restored and renewed  so we will be better prepared to face the battles that are almost sure to come to us. I hope that none of will miss this opportunity.

    I hope to see you Monday morning.

    It is 7:13 p.am Sunday evening, and it has been a quiet lonesome day and I expect the same tomorrow, Labor Day. I will be so glad to see Tuesday morning, I need some exercise . Let me hear from you. I love you

    DADS SATURDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY FOUR

    Good Saturday morning to all of my friends.
    We had a wonderful day yesterday, as you know by now that it was my birthday, this was near the end of the day when these pictures were taken and I was so tired , you can tell by the sad look on my face.
    I am feeling good this morning and I hope to find you able to say the same. Saturdays make us think of two days of rest, and that brings a smile to our face.

    Today

    More sun than clouds. A stray afternoon thunderstorm is possible. High 36C. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph.
    Mostly sunny. A stray afternoon thunderstorm is possible. High 97F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph.

    Look at that 97 degrees temperature and mostly sunny, looks like another do nothing day. just set on the patio and relax and meditate, think good thoughts.

    .  As you I think about you turning 98, I think these reminders might help others reach 98. Joan.

    HOW TO STAY YOUNG

    1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them'.
    2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
    3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.'
    4. Enjoy the simple things.
    5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
    6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
    7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
    8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
    9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
    10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
    AND ALWAYS REMEMBER : Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

    DADS FRIDAY ENTRY THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY THREE

    Full of pep and ready to go, Are you ?
    Good Morning.


     I am coming to you full of Vim, Vigor and Vitality, do you want to join me ? We are going to have so much fun this week. You can see that I did sleep in a little this morning. As I write it is 4:23 a.am. I usually have about 4 hours of writing done by this time, Now it is going to be a little more relaxed life for me and I hope that you will be there with me.


    Thanks to so many of you I am enjoying one of the beat birthdays in all my 98 years of life,
    Those years have passed so quickly and I feel that I have not what I so often tell you " Life is so precious-do not waste it " I feel that I have wasted so much of my life, living for myself.
