The picture below is of Levi, one of the special llamas who belongs to our friend Laura.

LEVI and some of his buddies. Laura says that Teddy, the llama on the far left is Levi's older brother.

Below is the e-mail Laura wrote when she sent me the pictures.

Sorry I didn't get you some pictures out on time. It is hard to catch Levi in a good pose. I will send you a close up and also a picture of Levi's older brother, Teddy playing "King of the Mountain" with some of his llama buddies. I should have some more pictures of Levi on his first trek April 4 coming up. He really looks good in a red halter.

The weather is still begining each day very warm, at 3 A. M. this Thursday the tempeature is 59 and we are still threatened with some rain showers. A few days of dry weather would please me.. I am so anxious to get started in the tomato garden.

Now we need to go see how the Eagles made it through the night, I have.nt told you yet, the other egg has hatched. Smile. Helen sent me the information yester afternoon. Mary and I were looking at them last evening and we got see all 3 of the little eagles eating their supper. It was a wonderful and touching picture to see the family oy 5 all together and looking so happy We do wish the best for them.

I do want to tell you that we have been useing Starbucks coffee for the last two weeks, some friends of mine gave me a few pounds of it And I do like it.

ENTRY # SIXTEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-TWO

GOOD MORNING TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS ALL ACROSS THE WORLD,

Spring is here and I am happy.

And I hope that you are feeling good, and able to smile, a big smile would go good with these flowers.

When I left you yesterday morning I told you that I did not have any more to say, well I still don't seem to have anything to talk about. But I have heard it said that if you don't have anything to talk about that you can always talk about the weather. So i am going to do that first and then maybe something better will come to me. 3 A.M. is too early to think anyway.
.
It is 60 degrees here this morning, and I noticed that we may have a few showers for two or three days. I hope that we don,t get very much because I need to do just a little more to the soil in Dad's tomato garden, and then I am just about ready to go. I am watching the temperature closely.
.
I was about to forget the eagles, let's go and see what is happening up there in their nest. When I quit last night the third egg had not hatched but it seem that they are expecting it maybe to day. Below are two links that might help us.

ENTRY # SIXTEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY ONE

GOOD MORNING,

This video brought a smile to my face, and it might do the same for you. It will be a few day's yet before we start getting them in the ground, but I can already see them big red home grown tomatoes, I can almost taste them, there is nothing else like them. Dad.

It's tea time as well as coffee time. Hot Tea is ready for all of you who enjoy hot tea.

We are still having beautiful weather, yesterday afternoon it was 74 here in east Tennessee, and the prediction is for the same today, that will rush things up if it stays that way for a few days. I just now checked the tempeature for this Tuesday morning, how does 54 sound for us to start off with here a 3 A.M. I know that it sounds good to me. Dad.

What are you supposed to do when you run out of anything to say, that is what is happening to me, so I had better stop. One thing that I did not tell you about the eagles was that I know what they had for their supper last night, it was fish, they were enjoying it so much. We are having some very beautiful weather here in The Tennessee Valley, this Monday morning the tempeature is 47 at 3 A.M., and it looks like another sunny day. It has begun to look and feel like tomato season is near for us. And I am ready for it to get here.

.

We could not leave without stoping in at Tomato Casual ..and saying Hello to Reggie, He alway has something good to show us. I am stilll waiting on him to stop in and have coffee with me, he has promised and I know that he will. DAD.

.

I feel like my body has gotten totally out of shape, so I got my doctor's permission to join a fitness club and start exercising. I decided to take an aerobics class for seniors. I bent, twisted, gyrated, jumped up and down, and perspired for an hour. But, by the time I got my leotards on, the class was over. DAD.

.

I think that I have already said too much, so I am going to stop, don't forget to watch the eagles today, and also the coffee is waiting for you to stop in and sit with me a little while, don't forget me.

.

If anything new comes in I will be back, if not I will see you on Tuesday morning if all is well. Smile today if you possibly can, I am going to try. Love goes out to all of you in every part of this world.

I am going to make this a little short this Friday morning. Good Morning.

This is good advice and I myself am going to try and be running when my feet hit the floor.
.
If I seem a little grouchy this morning, well I really am, so treat me as kind as you can today. We had a miserable day yesterday, it started out very well, but it started when we went to the drugstore to pick up a prescription. It was not available for us and no idea when it would be, someone, we do not know who had done something wrong so we were in trouble, Mary's main doctor was out of town. And Mary was out of medicine. So the rest of the day Wednesday up until near 7 P.M. was spent talking to every one that would listen to us. We finally got the prescription filled.
.
The thing that bothered us was that it caused us to miss the Wednesday night bible study, that was in Norma's home. And the study was a chapter that I like to read, Genesis chapter 22. Telling us about God asking Abraham to offer up his son. I hope that the day coming up is a little better than yesterday, anyway I am going to try and forget about it and just do my best today to be content and happy.
.
Our weather is still warm it is starting off this Thursday with a temperature of 54, it mentions a slight possibility of rain. We have had a few days of lots of sunshine. We visited the Stanley Greenhouse and the tomato plants are ready when we are. We have not heard yet when the cam will be installed, but I am sure that it will be in time to see us getting the plants in the ground.
