After looking at these pictures this morning, what do you think is on my mind ? These pictures are from Dad's garden, in the year of 2008.I hope that we can do a good job again this year.
Here is one of Mary's favorite poems that she learned in high school. It is by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
A Psalm of Life
Tell me not, in mournful numbers,Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,

We are still having good warm weather, it is 55 here at 3 A.M. this morning and the high will be near 70. Weather Bug has an alert early this morning for thunder storms, I think that we will have a little sun later in the day. This warm weather has been of great help to me, I finished getting my roses out yesterday.

I want to remind you again about the change of the location of my Outdoor Cams Links. You will find them both in the side panel. They are working much better there. If you do have any trouble I would be glad if you would let me know.

And this link Eagle Web Cam will let you look right into the eagles nest. I got a good look at them yesterday and they look like that they are doing good. I can see some growth, and the largest one stood up and flapped his wings.I hope that your children are getting to see this, some of my readers are very young, and I do love children.Dad.

I want to pour you a good hot drink, both the Starbucks coffee and the tea is ready, and that coffee sure hits the spot this morning, what would we ever do without it? I will see you in the morning if all goes well today, and I have hopes that it will. Keep SMILING..

I hope your Friday is a great one!
Good morning Dad :) I am smiling here this morning, we are going to have some sunshine and warm temperatures today and tomorrow and I am looking forward to that for sure. Thankyou for your inspiring words this Friday morning, it is always a great way to start my day. :) I hope the rain is over for a little while for us now so we can get outside and plant some things. We have a freeze expected in a few nights, going to be down in the twenties, so I still won't be putting my tomato plant out there in the holes I dug for them almost two weeks ago. I am keeping them watered in their pots though. Time for me to get moving, I have a wedding shower to go to tomorrow and I need to get a gift and get things squared away around here for my being gone for the day. :) Love, Kelly Have a fantastic beautiful weekend!
DAD, I TOO REMEMBER THAT POEM. CANNOT REMEMBER JUST HOW MANY VERSES WE WERE REQUIRED TO MEMORIZE.

Dear Dad and Ms. Mary:
Beautiful tomato pictures and I'm sure you will outdo yourselves this year on both them AND the roses. That is an inspiring poem and so true. Unfortunately I can't get on to see your WebCams but it is probably nothing to do with you -- it's probably my security system. I will try again later or tomorrow.
The eagles appear to be doing well and it's a beautiful sunny, windy day for them.
