Picture by Mary---This tomato was produced in Dad's Garden in the 2009 season. A few years ago when we first began writing our journal we had to beg some of these big tomato companies for pictures to use , sometimes we were turned down. Now we just grow our own pictures, Tomatoes and Roses. DAD .
My mood for today 3/2/10 is ( Happy)

Here is something that I want to say this morning. I hope that you will have time to read this.We have been running a few ads for a few weeks. Some of these large ads are definitely NOT what I approve of..
We are working on this and we will have it corrected in a few days. I am sorry that it happened. I try to keep my blog clean so that my youngest readers can safely read it. DAD .

"Good Morning DAD...Like me, it looks like the squirrels and the birds know where to go for some comfort and refreshments. I think this unusual winter weather has made us all tired and a bit out of sorts but now that March has arrived I think all of that will change. We are travelling north to our own house today. It will be cold there but it will feel so good to be back in my own home. Will stop by in the morning for a cup of coffee sitting in my favorite chair and visiting you.Have a restful day.".From Sara's Mom

I am going to bring this to a close for the present. I am surprised that I am feeling so much better this morning, and I don't have that grouchy feeling. I think that I have learned my lesson, don't get over tired. At my age it just will not work. So from here on out I am going to try to go slower and be more patient and kind to all of you. Please forgive me for what I have done in the past.Dad

Good Morning DAD...
Home again, sitting in my comfortable chair, enjoying that 2nd cup of coffee with you. How nice to be greeted with a large bright sparkling tomato...and from your own garden. Amazing! Sure made me SMILE!
Our weather up here in snow country is the same as yours, except you are getting the rain and snow and we only expect clouds. I am glad it will be dry today because I am meeting friends for lunch today. One of my friends is heading to Florida tomorrow, the other wishes she was!
Len's morning routine in Florida was to ride his bicycle about 25-30 miles. He will miss that. This morning his outing was in the car to the dump with all the junk mail and magazines and phonebooks that came while we were away...enough to fill a large box. It is so hard to get so many companies to stop sending you stuff you don't want. I call and I write and still the catalogues come. We do take it all to be recycled, which helps a bit. Do I sound like your granddaughter Mandy this morning!
I am still smiling and plan on having a nice relaxing day and hope you do too!...Sara's Mom
Aloha, DAD,
Joan is now comfortable in her home and on Thursday, we will be flying back to Hawaii. We will miss the grandbabies and the fun of playing with them. I'll be joining you on Thursday morning for a big cup of Samatra Bold.
Love, Sara's aunt
PS I LOVE that huge smile on your TOMATO.
Dear Dad and Ms. Mary:
Glad you feel more rested up, Dad -- I know how it can be when you're too busy to get enough sleep! The coffee's very good, thanks -- that helps, doesn't it? Hope you both are staying warm and bundled up in the snow. Yes, we have so many blessings to count, including that we are not in the EQ affected areas....Love to you both from Jamaka and fams
