SATURDAY.S ENTRY # TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED NINTEEN

My mood for today 4/10/10 is Happy.
.
"Time is so precious-do not waste it"
.
"Wasted years will come again no more"
.
This below was taken from Dad's DAD'S MEMOIRS , I was talking about the time LaVerne and I came back to Knoxville from Memphis, we were so happy. The main reason that I am showing you this is to show you that I was producing tomatoes at that time, a long time ago.
.
When we came back to Knoxville my Father and my uncle Horace built us a small house on a lot that my father owned. We enjoyed it so much; I was even able then to have a few tomato plants. It was small but it was enough for us three. Jim was born on December 15th 1938. That was his mother's birthday also. Mary was born on February 5th 1945, and were we ever glad to have a little girl with us. I am so fortunate to still have them both with me.

This Video above is not what we want here, we will replace it later in the morning if it does not clear up so you can hera what I am saying. DAD.
.
I know that we can hear Sara when she tells us all about Misty and Oreo. When we come to her Sara's Dog Training blog we always get the news that we want to hear. Thanks Sara for a job well done, DAD.
.
I do have lot's to be thankful for this morning, one is that it is Saturday morning, I am feeling real good and anxious to get to the tomato garden, my roses came in yesterday and I will be working with them today. Also more tomato plants will be arriving on monday.
'.
And listen to this, we have the three outside CAMS working. We were begining to think that we would never have them again but here they are for right now. As they say keep your fingers crossed.

Too early to plant tomoatoes up here, but I did finally get some sugar snap pea seeds in the ground yesterday. I usually plant them on St. Patrick's Day, so I'm a little late this year! I think it'll be ok though.

Oreo will be back to the water tank today. He has been doing so good lately. I think it won't be long before we will be back to our regular activities.

Have a good day! I'm glad your mood is HAPPY today!

Good Morning DAD...

I am SMILING too after listening to you read us that lovely poem. I am also SMILING and I know you will be too because today I was able to view your CAMS for the first time ever. However you fixed them this time, it also fixed it for many of us. I just saw a woman pushing a baby carriage walk pass your fountain in CAM #3. She also had another child running beside her.

It is cool here again so I will stay indoors getting things done so when the warmth and sun are here again I can spend the day outdoors. Enjoy your planting roses day. ...Sara's Mom

Hi DAD,
I was so excited to read about tomato growing in our morning paper. It says that you CAN grow tomatoes in Hawaii, but it takes a bit of time and patience. Sungold, Momotaro, and Lucky Cross fare well. The University is holding Tomato-growing classes. Maybe they will be calling on you for some advice? Now, that put a smile on my face. Have a lovely Sunday. Aloha, Sara's aunt

Dad, thanks for sharing that section from your memoirs. How lovely that you and LaVerne had a house built for you by your dad and uncle on family land, and didn't have all that stress about expensive housing that weighs so many people down today. Is the little house still standing?

Dear Dad and Ms. Mary:

You have a lovely family, Dad! ;) Enjoyed your video and that is such a good Thought for a Saturday, don't you agree? Much success with the roses. Ours are starting to look really lovely -- we have most colors out now.

Little eaglets are waiting for their folks to return. Nice birds on your friend's site, too.

Love to you both from Jamaka and fams
