Good Morning
Most of the time the only thing that I have to tell you is bad news, but this morning it is all good. The first one is that our # 2 cam is still going strong, but something else that sure does please me is that we have our improved Side Panel back and we are still adding more to it, now you will be able to enjoy the Journal, just look over to your right. Smile.
I hope that you are feeling good this Tuesday morning, I am feeling very good, I did have a restful sleep and I do feel able to face the daily conflict. I have some of that Sumatra x bold coffee ready and I am going to pour myself a cup right now. Wish we could share it but there are to many miles between us.
.....
Hope is an amazing gift. Found deep inside of us, it helps us weather the worse of storms. Here is Emily Dickinson's poem in which she compares a bird to hope. Joan
HOPE by Emily Dickinson
"Hope" is the thing with feathers—That perches in the soul—And sings the tune without the words—And never stops—at all—And sweetest—in the Gale—is heard—And sore must be the storm—That could abash the little BirdThat kept so many warm—I've heard it in the chillest land—And on the strangest Sea—Yet, never, in Extremity,It asked a crumb—of Me.
You are too hard on yourself. I didn't notice any mess up. I will be sending you a poem by Emily Dickinson on Hope but since you mentioned Sara's new puppy, here is one about a new puppy.
Puppy Poem (Untitled)
You can't buy loyalty, they sayI bought it though, the other day;You can't buy friendship, tried and true,But just the same, I bought that too.
I made my bid, and on the spot Bought love and faith and a whole job lot of happiness, so all in allThe purchase price was pretty small
I bought a single trusting heart,That gave devotion from the startIf you think these things are not for sale,Buy a brown-eyed puppy with a wagging tail.

I love the puppy poem! It is all so true.
Chewy's tail was wagging a mile a minute when he woke up this morning. He is such a sweetie, and Oreo is having so much fun with him.

Morning Dad,
Just stopping by to say hello and see how you are. I hope all is well in your neck of the woods! Say hello to Mary for me.
I love you,
Vicki in Birmingham
Good Morning DAD...
Time for a needed coffee break and I know just where to come for some Sumatra and Smiles. First visit was to see the birds feeding and it was a joy...the feeder filled to the top and birds lined up enjoying the treat. Guess you treated both the birds and me this morning.
The sidebar link to CAM #3 did not work for me today (only asked me to sign in). Fortunately I was able to visit CAM #3 easily from the link within your blog. I do like the new look and I can tell you have been working hard. The computer can take up so much of our time. But I couldn't live without it. Who would have thought a machine would be a source of friendship and knowledge...yesterday I learned about double knockout roses being a trouble free rose with larger and longer lasting blooms. Hope you got to plant it and will soon share some photos of the blooms. Have a pleasant day. ...Sara's Mom
Dad, it has been a long time since I stopped by. I am glad to see you are planting your tomatoes again this year. I hope your weather stays nice too and no bad storms!
I checked your cams and believe it is raining there today!
Dear Dad, Ms. Mary, and sweet Prince:
You did a lot of maintenance on your site yesterday, Dad! Just a couple of things: The WVEC page has been taken down. And I don't see your friend Steve's link on your sidebar (Shooting My Universe). Thought you might want to know.
Hope you are having a good day. Love to you all from Jamaka and fams <3
