G00d Morning.
Friday morning has slipped in upon on us again. We are always glad to see it, because it tell us that two rest days are coming up. And as usual I am needing rest and a little time to Relax.
.
" Lay down your heavy burden "
. This below was sent to me by Betty, Sara's Aunt and Joans sister. Thanks so much. DAD.
A young lady confidently walked around the room while leading and explaining stress management to an audience.
.
With a raised glass of water, and everyone knew she was going to ask the ultimate question, 'half empty or half full?'.....
.
She fooled them all... "How heavy is this glass of water?", she inquired with a smile. Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz. She replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an ambulance. In each case it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes." She continued, "and that's the way it is with stress. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be able to carry on." "As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again. When we're refreshed, we can carry on with the burden - holding stress longer and better each time practiced. So, as early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down. Don't carry them through the evening and into the night... pick them up tomorrow. Whatever burdens you're carrying now, let them down for a moment. Relax, pick them up later after you've rested. Life is short. Enjoy it and the now 'supposed' stress that you've conquered!"

Good Morning, DAD,
After you check Sara's blog today, you are going to be wearing a broad smile. Oreo and Chewy are full of themselves. I hope you go back to bed for a couple of hours and wait with the xbold. I'll be back around 2PM your time. If there is any coffee left, I'll join you for my first of the day. Enjoy the sunrise and the sweet birds who will be greeting you. Aloha....Sara's aunt
Up early, due to my Chewy alarm clock!
I had an unexpected, early release from school yesterday. It was very windy out and around 9AM a tree fell on a power line. They released us at 10:15, so I got to go home and play!
It was much cooler yesterday, and Oreo wanted me to throw his ball over and over.
Power is back on, so I'll be working today.
~Sara
HI DAD,
I'm back for my cup of coffee! We are having another storm. There is plently of lightening, thunder and rain. We had planned a day at the beach but that is now on hold. It is very hot in your neighborhood. Thanks, Mary, for keeping the house cool. It is now your nap time, so rest peacefully with Prince. Thanks for the coffee. Aloha...Sara's aunt
Good Afternoon DAD...
I have had a very busy day in NJ and just now got to take a break. It feels wonderful to sit down for a few minutes. I am now relaxing with a nice tall glass of ice coffee and reading your great blog. Love the stress story and all the funny but true quotes. You have me laughing. So glad I found the time to visit...you always make me smile and feel good.
Hope the weekend is good to you...lots of rocker time and stroking Prince time and maybe a ride or two around the garden. Have a peaceful evening. ...Sara's Mom
Dear Dad, Ms. Mary, and sweet Prince:
Liked the thoughts you shared, especially the one about the crayons ;)
Sounds like you are going to enjoy the best life has to offer -- curling up with a soft, purring cat! There is nothing better. And that glass of iced coffee Saras' Mom wrote about sounds good, doesn't it? Wishing you all a relaxing weekend, safe journeys, and love from Jamaka and fams <3
