I am getting  started a little late this morning, nothing wrong at all, just a little tired, we were in a 7:30 p.m. meeting last night that we enjoyed so much. But I have never saw a rain like the one we were in last night, sheets of water falling, high winds and hard to get to our car when we were ready to head to Dads house, in bed around 11:30 p.m.

Good morning DAD.

Smiling today, because it is Friday. Looking forward to the weekend. We had beautiful weatehr here yesterday, but seems as though it was just a tease.

Time for me to go walk the dogs. Oreo keeps pawing at my leg as I write this.

Good Morning DAD...

The coffee sure smells good. I poured us a cup. Cam #3 shows a dry road in front of the water fountain but the day still looks dark. After a horrible evening I do hope it is the last of the rain for a while, at least until the tomato plants are in and need some moisture. Glad you got home safely..nothing worse than driving in heavy rain with light glaring back at you.

My plans for today include baking a loaf or two of Irish Soda Bread for Len to take to a friend who is recovery from a botched up heart procedure. She is from England so I'll get some British Cream to spread on it. Wish you and I could share a slice of the second loaf with our coffee.

Sending a big SMILE your way and wishing you a happy Friday.

Hi DAD,
Were you in Hawaii last night? We, too, had a storm.
The thunder, lightening and sheets of rain kept the heavens busy. This morning it is dark and cool.
Now, I am going to pour the second round of coffee. Maybe, I'll bake some Soda Bread. Joan has put that idea into my head. Have a lovely day. Enjoy the sweet birds who visit with you. Aloha to you, Mary and Prince from Hawaii...Sara's aunt

Dear Dad, Ms. Mary, and handsome Prince:

Oh, gosh, Dad, I wish you could arrange for about 50% of that rain to come out here to L.A. We need it so badly! Hope your coffee pot is still full and doesn't that Irish Soda Bread sound good to go with it? Hope sweet Prince is staying close and keeping you company -- what could be nicer on a rainy day than looking at all the beautiful plants (and what birds decide to visit) with your cat by your side, all snug? Sounds wonderful to me! Wishing you all a good afternoon/evening and sending love and PURRS from Jamaka and fams <3
