DAD'S FRIDAY ENTRY TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SIX

Good Morning,

It is 7:06 AM and you may be wondering why there isn't a completed Blog already.

This is Mary writing here: I insisted Dad go to the dr. yesterday because his left foot and leg are so swollen. Really, it is almost twice the size of his other leg, both the foot and about half-way up the leg. The dr. didn't seem too concerned (but it's not his leg!)and he wrote Dad a prescription for an antibiotic which he is taking. He sees the foot dr. next week and the dr. said to have him "look at it." I want Dad to see another dr. and get a "second opinion." I am trying to work that out now. So please think of us.

I'll be back here later. Dad is resting, sleeping soundly so I am glad he can rest. We have his feet propped up, but I really don't think it will help this.

So long for now. I plan to be back later today to let you know how Dad is doing. He loves all of you very much.

This is Dad writing this at 10:05 A M . I have rested all morning and I know that I do need it. I keep my golf cart at the foot of the stairs to the basement, it is very handy, a few minutes ago I drove to the mail box for the Mail and our paper. I don't want anyone to worry about me, I am a strong old man, and I do not intend to let this hinder my work in producing tomatoes, roses and smiles.

Mary is taking perfect care of me, even brings my food to my bed side, come on I am going to take another nap.

Glad to see you this morning, you are looking good, and I hope that you are feeling all right as we have a lot to do this day.

I am going to have my Sumatra x bold coffee the first thing this morning, I am feeling the need of it and I am sure that a few of you are agreeing with me. Good Morning.

Can you see the big smile on my face this morning I am getting my garden spot in perfect shape, as you can see in the above picture above. Now let the tomato plants come I am ready. Yesterday was a perfect day for the job, a little cold but good and dry all day.

Sara's Dog Training early this Monday morning. They have been away from home for a few days , I do hope that they are back this morning. It gets lonesome around here when Sara , Oreo and Misty are gone. We all hope that you had a nice time Sara. I hope that things will go good for you on this Monday morning. Dad.

I smell something good, I know that it must be my Starbucks Coffee nothing else smells as good as that in the early morning, so you just relax sit down over there and in a jiffy I will serve you. Be sure that you have a smile DAD.

ENTRY # SEVENTEEN HUNDRED & FIFTY THREE

Good Morning.

I will not have a entry this morning as we are going to be away for a little while. When we get back we hope to have lot's to show you. We will have our cell phone with us and it will be answered. 865-850-5763. The weather here is nice, our tempeature at 3 a.m. was 67 with a 78 high expected today and it does say a 40% chance of showers. Both of my Cams 1 & 2 are working this morning, check during the day and you might see someone working with those Tomatoes.See you soon. All is well here. Love you. DAD

Don't you just love these Monday mornings ? I am really glad to see it, and glad that God has given me another day of life, another clean sheet, another chance to do and be better than I have in the past. I sure don't want to mess it up.

It is only a couple of days until many of us will be making New Year resolutions. I don't usualy do that but I think that I will this year I am not going to make them public, but the only One that needs to know what they are will know.
