DAD'S MONDAY ENTRY TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NINETY.

" Always begin the day with God "

How are you feeling on this Monday morning ? I am feeling very good because we did get the new tomatoes where they belong and I checked them yesterday and they seem to be doing real good, we hope to have a few tomatoes soon.

The weather is real good here the high today will be 85, that should make them grow.

We have two very close friends who live in Canada, and they visit us often, and this below is what gave us this this trip, I took the picture and made a real bad job, as you know Mary is sick and I am alone in writing this journal, so don't expect to much out of this old man. This maple syrup is very good, and it sure does something for those pancakes. Our friends do make this syrup as we would say from scratch, They tap the trees to catch the syrup, and from there a lot goes on until you see it in that jug below, I don't know about all that to be talking it. I am sorry if I have made you hungry. DAD.

I hope that our Side Panel is still being of good use to you, we will be adding more as we find them.

DAD'S THURSDAYS ENTRY TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN

Good Morning,

I hope that you all are as happy as we are this Thursday morning, So many good things have been coming our way, the picture above is of course the Double Knock Out Rose that Jim gave us, I plan to get a few more today, they bloom all summer long.

Also this is what I have been waiting on, the tomato plants came in yesterday. We will try to get them in the ground before the week is out. These are replacing the ones that we lost in the hail storm. We are not going to have as many as last year and they are about one month later, but we are going to have tomatoes, I can't wait much longer to bite into one of those home grown tomato sandwiches, Smile.

Last night was our Bible study night, and we had four visitors with us. They are from Canada and are spending a few days in The Great Smoky Mountains, It is a beautiful place this time of the year. I have been trying to get Steve to come here and spend a few days. You can find a link to his Shooting my Universe on our new side panel, you will find it so interesting.

Mary has been spending a lot of time and effort in working on our new side panel, and she is still looking for more to add, please go there, you will find much to enjoy.

Good Morning

I am asking you before you have your coffee, how are you this morning ? I am feeling good but I belive that a cup of that x bold would make me feel better.

We did get a few more links added to our side panel, and we will be adding a few more later as we think of others, if any of you think of any that we have left out just let us know. We are still having rain, a shower almost every afternoon, but that is fine with me, A few tomatoes plants from Burpee should arrive this morning, and we will be getting them in the ground replacing the ones that we lost by the hail storm. We may not have as many plants as we expected but I think that we are going to have some good home grown tomatoes.

This weekend in Albany NY the 63rd annual Tulip Festival will be here to celebrate the city's Dutch Heritage. When the sun shines on the 200,000+ tulips, it is a magical site that takes your breath away.

DADS TUESDAYS ENTRY TWO THOUSAND EIGHTY FIVE

Good Morning

Most of the time the only thing that I have to tell you is bad news, but this morning it is all good. The first one is that our # 2 cam is still going strong, but something else that sure does please me is that we have our improved Side Panel back and we are still adding more to it, now you will be able to enjoy the Journal, just look over to your right. Smile.

I hope that you are feeling good this Tuesday morning, I am feeling very good, I did have a restful sleep and I do feel able to face the daily conflict. I have some of that Sumatra x bold coffee ready and I am going to pour myself a cup right now. Wish we could share it but there are to many miles between us.

We had a good day yesterday, our Sunday morning meeting and another meeting at 4 p.m. we feel that we did get a lot of encouragement to keep on going on to the end of the journey.

Jim ( The fisherman ) and Beverly came down Sunday morning and spent the day with us, and he brought me one of those Double Knock Out Roses, I will get it in the ground this morning,

I have not ask about yet, but I am now. I hope that your weekend went well, and that you are ready for the new work week to start.
