Good Morning.

.
Are you Happy and Smiling in this New Year 2011 that we are living in now ? Well I am, I am excited about it and I feel that there will be many opportunities for us this year to produce a lot of SMILES and TOMATOES, and to live for others. I hope that my health will be good so that I can do some of the things that I love to do, And I wish the same thing for all of you. I am so glad to be back, I enjoy the two days that I have off, but I miss my visits each morning with you, and my Sumatra x bold Starbucks coffee.

Oreo and I reached a milestone today! At our morning CPE trial, Oreo had two runs over 4 yards per second. Broke our record of 3.9, which was on a jumps only course. These runs included tunnels.I can't tell you how many people came up to me to say, "He's gotten so much better," and "beautiful runs."Oreo dealt with things like men in ring crew chairs, and having to take a jump right toward the crowd and steps away from the timer & scribe. I thought for sure he would go around that jump. He flew over it like we were all by ourselves.My strategy today, ignore all Oreo's usual stressors, pretend Oreo has no stressors, and simply run my butt off, encouraging Oreo verbally the entire time.The two runs were like a dream. I only got our first run videoed. Too bad, because I think our second run was our best.Now I have to stop cheering for Oreo when he's going over the last jump, because he dropped that last bar. Second time I've caused him to drop a bar with my hootin' and hollerin'. I have a hard time controlling my excitement when he surprises me with such a good run. Sara.

While we are here why don't we just click Sara's Dog Training blog and see what Sara, Misty and Oreo are doing in this new year. I have enjoyed them the past year and I am sure that I will get a lot of smiles this new year

This link alone will answer most of the questions that you could have about producing Tomatoes, Dad,

The Psalm of Life
..
Tell me not in mournful numbers,

Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.
..
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou are, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each tomorrow
Find us farther than today.

Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.

In the world's broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife!

Trust no Future, howe'er pleasant!
Let the dead Past bury its dead!
Act, - act in the living Present!
Heart within, and God o'erhead!

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sand of time;

Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o'er life's solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.

Let us then be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.
.
By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Bear with us, our tripod is making a noise when we turn it left to right. We will have it fixed soon.

.
I am going to stop for a little while, it may take me the most of the day to complete this, But before I go I want to leave you my thought for today.

.
" He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. A men, Even so come Lord Jesus."
.
Revelations chapter 22 verse 20

I am feeling good , I am content , I am not going to worry today about things that I Can not change, I will be back in the morning if my life is spared.
.
. " Live for others every day, 'tis the true the better way "

Good Morning DAD...

Happy 2011! You begin the New Year with smiles and lots of good advise and you are well qualified to give advise. Both the verse you read to us "All is Peaceful" and Longfellow's "Psalm of Life" encourage all to work hard, be good and accomplish as much as they can and the rewards will follow.

I'm going to enjoy a cup of Sumatra with you while I visit all your links. Then it will be packing time. Tomorrow we begin out trek south towards Florida and hopefully sunshine and warmth. Have a peaceful Monday.

We just heard from my sister of the death of her 56 year old brother-in-law... a history professor, an author, a gentle person who loved beauty and peace. How ironic that you posted Longfellow's poem today. Andrew certainly left footprints in the sand for others to follow. He is now a precious memory.

Good Morning Dad!
I love seeing you on a video, it feels almost like sitting in the same room, having a cuppa Joe and some pleasant conversation!
I am sorry to read of Sara's Mom's sister's brother in law's passing. May God blantket them with His peace and give them strength, courage and hope to get through their time of need.
Love to you and Mary.

Dear Dad, Ms. Mary, and sweet Prince!:

That's a very good poem you shared with us, Dad, and I agree with your friend Vicki -- it's like a little visit watching your videos, and any time Prince wants to do a "catmeo" we'd love to see him ;)

The rain has slackened here, for awhile. Snow level was down to 1,300 feet yesterday! We didn't get any here, though there is a lot up where we used to live, I don't doubt.

Wishing you all a warm and cozy evening with love from Jamaka and fams <3
