THURSDAYS ENTRY TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY SIX

" Spend the day wisely, live for others "

Good Morning.
I am running a little later than usual this wet rainy morning. Things have been a little slow so I thought about two more hours of rest this morning would not hurt me.

Cloudy with showers. High 52F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50%

We are hope for a few dry days soon. April will soon be here and the plants need to be in the ground. DAD.

I wonder if this rain is falling up in Oreo's country, if it is does he like it, I will ask Sara at Sara's Dog Training blog and she will let us know. We all love Oreo. DAD.

I have not ask you about how you are feeling, and have you had your coffee yet, if not sit down and I will pour you a cup, that will get you going, its that Sumatra x bold and it is good. I hope that we all can get out and do an honest days work wherever we are in this world. I am feeling as good as could be expected, last night was our bible study and we were just a little late in getting to my bed, but it was worth it. We were studying Luke chapter 7.

Youth in our Hearts

A health to our future--a sigh for our past,
We love, We remember, we hope to the last;

And for all the base lies that the almanacs hold.
While we've youth in our hearts, we can never grow old.

I am sorry that I have been so slow, but I have had computer trouble, I am sure that you know what that is. Any way I am done and ready for a little nap. it is still raining here at 9:45 a.m.

When all this wet weather is over and I am working in the soil again I will get back doing what I am here for, to help you grow a better Tomato and a better Smile I will see you in the morning if I am spared, be good untill I talk to you again.

I think most of the east coast is experiencing rain today. I'd almost rather have snow. Less messy.

Oreo does not like the rain, especially heavy rain. He will stand at the door and poke his head out, then turn around to come back inside.

He says, "I'm not going out there!"

We've had a couple of rainy days here but will be seeing lots of snow in the next few. I think rain is better because you don't have to shovel it. I really am ready for Spring. Have a wonderful Thursday!

Good morning DAD...

Yes it is raining here with some sleet too. A good day to stay in and do some house cleaning. Late this afternoon I hope it clears enough to make a trip to Starbucks. They are celebrating their 40th anniversary and are giving a free petite treat with a coffee purchase. The little cakes on a stick look yummy.

Guess the bible study offered lots of food for thought and discussion. You are probably still thinking about the reading today.

I'll check in later to see if you have a poem for us today. Enjoy some time going through your poetry books, reading and selecting an appropriate one for the day.

Hello Again DAD...

What a lovely poem! You certainly know how to stay young at heart and to help us all SMILE along with you.

I sense some frustration with the weather and the computer...both cause problems that we mostly can do nothing about. Looks like the computer problems are cleared up and now we wait for mother nature to clear the skies and dry the earth so planting season can begin.

SMILE and enjoy a cup of Sumatra...that is what I am doing right now. ..Sara's Mom

Dear Dad, Ms. Mary, and sweet sunny Prince:

Oh, dont' we ever know what computer trouble is! I've hopefully resolved mine and hope yours is soon remedied as well. ;) It's amazing how important they are in our lives, isn't it?

That is a wonderful poem you shared, and so true! Been doing Spring cleaning of my file cabinets and of course revisiting memories, but hoping and thinking I must work on a better future! ;)

Hope the rain soaks in and that your ground will be ready for those plants in due time! Love to you all, and big PURRS to our favorite marmalade boy from Jamaka and fams <3

Thanks for that wonderful poem, Dad! I have started reading your blog during the daytime now instead of the night before, because I see now that you add to it after you begin it! Besides, when I check your blog during the day, it reminds me to check on the eagles. I can never see them late at night!

Well, dear friend, I wish I could send you some California sunshine so that you could be out in your garden today. I hope you stay safe if there is flooding. Soon all the rain will be gone and the sun will shine again on those big red tomatoes.
