DADS MONDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY SIX

When the children of Israel were fleeing out of Egypt  they came to the Red sea and here is what they faced, when they looked behind they saw the armies of Egypt and in front the Red sea, what would you have done ? Listen to what God told them to do. " Stand still and see the salvation of God " they did that and you know what happened. Read that for your self, it is very interesting and helpful DAD.

Good Morning

My mood for this day is SAD.

I am sad because as I look around I see so much going on that is not good in the sight of the one up above,in this cold cruel world the flesh has taken over, I want for myself to realize that God is looking down and he knows even our thoughts before we think then, and ever deed that we do. In the days of Noah God looked down and Noah was the only one that he found that feared him. This is an  important matter, I want to think about it more every day so I change that Sad mood above to Happy. DAD.

The plane pictured is the same model that I mention in My journal, this is not a very good of  the forced landing, it does bring back some memories to me. DAD

The only plans that I have for right now are for a good cup of that Starbucks Sumatra x bold, and do you know that I have a cup right here at my side, with Prince looking on. I wish that I could pour you a cup, maybe sometime that will be possible with all the new inventions coming out, they went to the moon remember. DAD.

The weather is so nice here at Dads Garden, I am enjoying it before it goes away. It will soon be time to cover the two bird baths for the winter. we will try to have the light shining on the bird feeders while the baths have covers on. Dad.

Mary and I have a very busy day planed , Plumber due here this morning, and we have a lot of running around to do, so I am parking here for the day. Mary and I have decided that we do need to pay attention to our own rest and enjoy ourselves a little more than we have in the past. Time is running out for us all. After all we do have to work to make enough to feed Prince, and you know that we will do our best to do that.'

I hope to be back on Tuesday, and I will if God has mercy on me.

DADS SATURDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE

Begin the day with God, continue the day with God, end the day with God

Good Morning

Yes, yes I am in a happy mood, if you are not why not ?

One reason that I am happy is because this is my last journal for this week, I am writing this one for two days, today and Sunday, and then after a little relaxing and renewing I will be back Monday, full of pep and ready to go to work and give you a fresh new journal.DAD.

I am sad that I will not get my Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy today. we do not go on Saturday so it will be Monday moring before I am able to get a treatment, thats a long time to wait for something you love so much.  I am so happy for what this Oxygen has done for me, and I am sure that it will do the same for you, to get started first thing you should do is call your personal doctor and I am sure that he knows all about it already  and he will know what to do for you, I hope that you can join us. I will tell you one thing that you will see a lot of SMILES and the kindest treatment that you have ever received.

I would like to thank every one by name, (and I am going to try that when I can get them all) that has been so kind to this old grumpy man This smile and kindness begins when I am picked up at the parking lot until I am helped back to my car after the Oxygen. What more could you expect?

I do want to tell you that Mary has been so much help to me in all of this, getting up early and seeing that I am dressed properly for the day and then driving me to the parking lot. I thank her for this, and I wish that you would thank her to.  DAD

After all of this blabbering do you think that I have lost my mind,maybe I have but I am happy and content, I have no complaints this morning.

    This is a little update to let you know how we are doing here in East. Tennessee. I am writing this in red so you will know what it is, and the weather has turned out to be beautiful temperature 48 degrees with plenty of sun here at 12:06 pm we are low on supplies, we trade our eggs , butter and other produce for things like salt and soda

  • Ha,Ha just teasing you. it did use to be like that when I was young about 98 years ago.We are going to Kroger and they only accept folding money and we better take plenty because groceries have advanced  very much, I must slow down and just buy only the things that we really need. DAD

  • I do have more but as I always do on Saturday  I hold this open until late afternoon to get any thing that you might send my way. I have enjoyed the visit.

    DADS FRIDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY FOUR

    Time is so precious-do not waste it
    Good Morning.
    Are you looking for a HAPPY mood, well  y0u have one.Why am I happy, well Mary and I worked until midnight last night in the office putting things in order, things that have been out of place for months, now when I need something I can put my fingers on it at once. That is worth so much to me, Mary is so good at planning things like this.

    DADS THURSDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY THREE

    What is the most important thing in your life today ? Give it a lot of thought before you answer me. DAD

    Good Morning

    My mood is still Happy, but I am having to work a little harder to keep it Happy, I am sure that I can do it.

    Today

    Showers possible in the afternoon. Thunder possible. High 18C. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

    Sunny skies during the morning hours will give way to occasional showers in the afternoon. Thunder possible. High around 65F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

    Are you getting tired of doing all the same old things every day ? IF you love what you are doing you are not. I have heard it said " Get a job that you love and you will never work a day in your life " I love what I do producing tomatoes,roses and smiles the pay is not the best but being happy and content and seeking to live for others is my goal in this short life.DAD

    Be fore I Began to hunt and pick on this keyboard I started a big pot of Sumatra x bold coffee and I know that it is ready, come share a cup with me. Dad.

    I am begriming to think of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and a smile comes on. I enjoy the two hours that we are there each morning, I am receiving so much help. I am pleased with the attention that we receive from the time that we call Sherry to tell her that we are in the parking lot until we are took back to our car for the trip home. We do have a nice smiling person in the treatment with us, to take care of us, giving us water a warm blanket, and keeping us comfortable. They never sleep their eyes are on us, and smiling all the time.

    If you would like to join us call your personal Doctor and he will know what to do. I hope that you can be with us soon. Dad recommends this highly.

    DADS ENTRY FOR WEDNESDAY THREE THOUSAND TWENTY TWO

    Never let the sad memories of the past, rob you of the pleasures of this day.

    Good morning

    My mood this morning is still Happy, and I intend to keep it Happy this day what ever comes across my path good or bad. DAD

    Today

    Abundant sunshine. High 20C. Winds light and variable.

    Mainly sunny. High 69F. Winds light and variable.

    Contained In the things that make me Happy today are our Wednesday bible study which will be here at our home at 7:30 PM. We are studying Hebrews chapter 13. We do get help in these meetings and living in this cold, cruel, sinful world we are going to need all the help that we can get to keep traveling on to the end, that won't be much longer for some of us, I know that includes Old DAD.

    • I must get ready to go see my friends at Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, I can see the smile as I sit here and write of Sherry and all the others that are getting to go with me, what a wonderful way to spend two hours this beautiful Wednesday morning. I sure wish that you were in our number, some time later I will tell you how you can be  I want to thank you Dr Hill for all your Smiles and kindness to all of us. The nurses that I see ever other day are surprised at results that they can see.

    I must get out of hers, I hope to see you in the morning if my life is spared another day.

    DADS TUESDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY ONES

    It is still good to always remember that " Time is precious-do not waste  any part of it "

    Good morning.

    Yes my mood is very Happy, what did you expect, I just can't go around all day being a complainer, I like to say I have no complaints to ever one that I see or talk to today

    It takes coffee to keep most of us going, I have a 12 cup percolator of x bold just about ready, sit down and I will poor, if Joan was here I would let her do it, she will be here soon, never misses.

    Today

    I have other things to be thankful for, did you notice today is November the 1st, the tempature is only 37 degrees but it seems colder than that to me, I think that the word November just sounds cold.what I am wanting to tell you is that Jim and Beverly prepare a delicious meal for the whole family ever year and this is no exception. I am not sure how many the table will seat, on that day you might find some one eating in the family room, no one wants to miss being in Kingsport on that day. Now don't you that I have a lot to be thankful ? Thanks Jim and Beverly. DAD.

    I am in to much of a rush to pick a favorite this morning on either of these top or bottom.. DAD

  • It will soon be time for me to go to my Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. When I get to the parking lot I call  Sherry on my celphone and some one comes out and takes me to the room  to begin prepration to enter the treatment, not very much but needful, like blood preasure, tempeature, pain level and a few other things. When all of that are ready we are taken to the the treatment spot,and treatment starts around 10 a.am. and lasts until around 12 noon. Come join us a doctor would need to recommend this. Thank you doctor Hall for all your help and kindness to us, and that smile helps us also. DAD

    I must go, I will be home in the early afternoon, and I think Prince will tell me what is best.. I have enjoyed my short visit with you and I plan that  if all goes well to talk to you in the morning.
