DADS FRIDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SIX

Not unto men I labor, not unto men I pray , but in thy sight Lord Jesus I walk the lowly way, and unto my own Master, I either stand or fall, what men have said about me, that will not count at all.

I am so glad for the truth in the above,only  God knows all about us and he is the only one that can be trusted with that information . DAD

DADS THURSDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIVE

Begin,continue and finish this day with God and you will feel better when the end of the day comes

Today

Thundershowers. High 20C. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

Variable clouds with showers and scattered thunderstorms. High 69F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

Good Morning.

Have you ever rolled out of bed and not have even one complaint ? Every thing is only good, well that is my case today. I think that the good Wednesday night meeting that we had last night was a great help to DAD. We were studying  Hebrews chapter 8 & 10. Several mentioned the need of not neglecting opportunity of being in every meeting that we can, I am a firm believer  in that, My father and mother taught me that when I was a little boy.

Let the refining and improving of your own life keep you so busy that you have little time to criticize others.

These two are  from a little book called " A fathers book of  wisdom by H Jackson Brown. Jr  These are so good that I use them often DAD

Be good to yourself , be patient, be kind, be  forgiving. After all you are all you've got.

I have not made any plans for today, its is just to early to think. But its not to  early to think about  that Sumatra x bold coffee, someone pour me a cup quick.

DADS WEDNESDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FOUR

And though  disappointments come they to are best for me, to wean me from this changing world, and lead me nearer thee.

Good Morning.

Right above I mention disappointments , I have made up my mind this Wednesday morning that I am not going to let any thing, or any person spoil this day for me, God gave it to me and I want to make good use of it. I have in the past been disappointment  in people, my thought this morning is forget it God knows and he will handle that for me. DAD.

I was real tired at my bedtime last night, we had a busy day, after the oxygen treatment we went to my regular doctor, he is the one that wants me to come see him about every two months to see if there are any screws that need to be tightened up on this old man, and he was surprised how good I was doing after 98 plus years. He did give my flu shot.

Right now I am in need of some of that Sumatra x bold coffee, wish that I could pour you a cup, if you could get here I would, if you ever do pass through Knoxville at any time of the day, just call me and we will really have a cup together. DAD white6416r@aol.com or 577-8495.

DADS TUESDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED THREE

I hope that all is well with you, I am thankful that God has given us another day of life, I feel like I may not have many days left after all think of 98 x years, But what I am going to do is live the best that I can in " Living for others " the days God spares me. Dad

It is now 3:32 p.m and we are home from the the oxygen treatment and it went well and I feel like is is helping me. we enjoyed the help of Charlie again this morning.

I had plans to do a little outside work when we got home, But the rain is falling so the only thing that I can thing of is a nap

I have enjoyed being with you this morning and I hope to see you on Wednesday mooning

DADS MONDAYS ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWQ HUNDRED TWO

Count your blessings, name them one by one, and it might surprise you what the Lord has done.

Good Morning.

How are my world wide friends feeling on this Monday morning ? I am out of bed and feeling good, ready to go get'em. No work plans made yet but will soon be, all that is on my mind right now is a cup of that Starbucks x bold and it is ready, I wish that I could say that I will pour and I would if you were here.

Today

Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 26C. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph.

Mary, Prince and I had a very nice week end. Our Sunday morning  meeting was helpful, that is if I do the good things that I heard. Just being there is not enough, we must try to do what we heard, some may say" I went to church Sunday, and be satisfied with that.

I did get in a few naps in the after noon, I kept feeling  something soft and like fur pushing against me, that was of course Prince

I must soon dress for my trip to Hyperbaric oxygen therapy. I may not have told you that we must wear special clothing, it must all be 100% cotton. They will furnish this for us, I buy my own most of the time,I can get a more comfortable fit, and you want to be able to rest for those two hours, they do pass very quick .

And our attendant who are in there taking care of our needs are so kind and helpful always smiling. We may not have the same one all the time, we have been having Charlie for several  nights. No matter who it is they all are very kind and helpful to us, always smiling, now this may help you see why I like the oxygen treatment, on top of all this I am getting help. Thank to all the others there who are good to us from the time we arrive in the parking lot until they take me back to our car for the trip home. Their kindness alone would help you feel better. DAD.

DADS SATURDAY ENTRY THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED ONE

Measure twice and saw once, that is the best advice that I can give you this Saturday, for an example look at Dad, he has not always done this and look at him today, accomplishing nothing.

I hope that the sun shines on you today, from the report above it looks like a nice day at Dads house, a nice day to sit out side , we have not had many days like this lately . Since this is Saturday I am going to be found near the garden.

    You know my way of working on the week end, I do not write a journal on Sunday, so this one if to be viewed Saturday and Sunday. I will be giving you a new one on Monday morning if my life is spared, so many of my close friends have passed on lately it makes me think, why am I being spared so long, a little past 98 years, only my Father up above knows, and I do want to trust more in Him.  DAD

    Time is so precious-do n0t waste it.

    Good Morning,

    I hope that I am finding all my world wide friends out of that bed and ready to face this cold cruel world. I am up and feeling good and I will feel lots better after I have had a cup of that Sumatra x bold coffee, Is is so sad to me that you can't be here and enjoy a cup with me, That might happen some time, strange things do happen.

    Morning Dad,
    Just a quick hello plus sending you some of these delicious looking recipes.  I hope this note finds you well.  We are all ok, just still sad and we find that it is still hard to believe that mom is gone.  It's good that we have so many happy memories to fall back on though.
