Someday I hope that This young man above will be publishing a daily blog, when I am gone someone must carry on, at the present time he is next in line.

Good Morning DAD...
I so enjoy the story of you working in the grocery store. Just like the video we can learn about the daily happenings of years gone by seeing and reading. I hope your grandson enjoys seeing and hearing about the past as much as you enjoy learning about the "must haves" of today and tomorrow. I am using a "smart" phone while in Florida for most of my computer needs. It is a great help but every now and again I must get on my pc.. it is so much easier for me to type and see on my old reliable Compaq laptop...and it is old in terms of the pc world...maybe 5 years old.
Yesterday we saw many flocks of ducks heading north. They flew together in large numbers. Their radar must be telling them it is going to warm up in NC and GA and TN...good news for you. Better get those feeders filled, warmer weather means birds nesting and needing nourishment.
It was the most perfect of days for sitting on the beach yesterday...many, many people...I think the most I've ever seen on the Anna Maria Island beaches in February. Hoping for another day like yesterday. Enjoy part of your day outdoors and be sure to wear a scraf around your neck. Then warm up and relax with a nice cup of Sumatra. See you in the morning.

How strange! I posted a comment just now, and it has disappeared. Anyway, I hope you had a good weekend and are all ready for this new week. We had rain yesterday, and it's sunny today, just a little warmer than your forecast.

It just seems to get more and more busy here --I think it would have been nice to live during the days of your family's store! I couldn't tell the brands except for "Gold Dust" (sounds good!), but it looks like a well-stocked and popular store.
