I received this a few days ago. It’s very touching…

I have heard of this, but this is the first time I have seen it. . . . .

The first picture and the last picture are taken at the beach in Santa Barbara right next to the pier. There is a veterans group that started putting a cross and candle for every death in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The amazing thing is that they only do it on the weekends. They put up this graveyard and take it down every weekend.

Guys sleep in the sand next to it and keep watch over it at night so nobody messes with it.

Every cross has the name, rank and D.O.B. and D.O.D. on it.

Very moving, very powerful??? so many young volunteers.

So many 30 to 40 year olds as well. Amazing !

Good morning DAD..

Another Saturday sipping coffee and visiting with you...always a good way to begin the weekend. This is our last weekend in Dunedin. Next Friday we will be a little further south and a little closer to the gulf in the lovely Anna Maria Island area. With many things still to do in Dunedin it will be a busy week.

Your tribute to the military men and women killed serving our country was taking the time to post those moving photos and story of this holy ground in California. And, you once again remind all of us that time is precious. Time waits for no one ..Treasure every moment.

Have a quiet peaceful weekend and enjoy some precious moments with Mary and Prince and your friends from Sunday meeting. ...Sara's Mom

Good morning to you from cold Ohio. What can we say, this is January. Glad it's a good morning for you. I do pray every day for our troops. I hope your weekend is a wonderful one.
