TUESDAY:S ENTRY # TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED EIGHTTEEN

Good Morning,

I hope that you are feeling good this early tuesday morning, I am feeling real good, and I do also need some of that X bold coffee that I am talking about in the video up above, you sit and I will pour, then we can get started on this day's work.

We should go by and see how Sara is getting along, and there is just one way there an it is Sara's Dog Training blog ,come on lets look inside, I just need a glimpse of Oreo. Sara I have a lot more to say but as you can see I am having a little computer trouble, Dad.

Cloudy with occasional snow showers. High 2C. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
Snow flurries early. Then partly cloudy in the afternoon. Temps nearly steady in the mid 30s. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.

I am begining to need some dry weather here in the Tennessee Valley, my garden spot is not yet ready and my plants will be ready before I am able to get them in the ground. DAD.
Maybe it would be a good idea for me to read this link below while I am waiting on dry weather to get here, I might learn something about producing tomatoes their diseases and a lot more. That is what I have been encouraging you to do. Dad.

MONDAY'S ENTRY # TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SEVENTEEN

" Time is so precious-do not waste it "

Good Morning.

I am not going to say a thing to you about this being another monday morning to face you already know how I feel about it. so get your hat and come on with me, we can make it if we will just try.
.
I would like to say that Mary and I had a very pleasant but busy week. Almost more than Old Dad was able for, but I made it through in one piece. Now I am going to have some of my Rest, Renewing and Relaxing for a few day's and then try to do my part and do my best just be in being good. DAD.
.
I must get busy here and get over to Sara's Dog Training blog and see how Jeff, Sara and Oreo are doing, I am always a little more interested in seeing them on since I was not around yesterday, Sara give me some news and I do hope that it is good. I love that Oreo and I am not forgetting that sweet Misty, her influence is still around. DAD

HARVEST TIPS
.
Tomatoes can be harvested when they begin to show color, as they will continue to ripen. However, the closer you can get to vine-ripened the better the flavor will be. Bird damage usually becomes a concern at this stage. Birds love to peck holes in the fruit. Some gardeners say they're after water, so place some pans of water in the garden. Others claim red Christmas tree ornaments will fake the birds out and they will go away. Putting fake owls in the garden (move them around every few days), covering the plants with bird netting (just before harvest time) and wrapping clusters with fiber row cover are other techniques to try

I want you to know that this is Saturday and tomorrow is my resting, relaxing and renewing day and I am Happy, because I feel the need of it more than I have in a long time.

GOOD MORNING.

I Hope that all is going good on your spot on the globe, I am still feeling Hapyy, don't seem to have anything to complain about'. In the first thing that I am showing below I wan't to tell you that I was born in 1913 so I did experience some of these things that Ronal Reagan was talking about.

Sara I hope that some of that snow has melted, but I am afraid that not much has. I am glad that I can come to Sara's Dog Training blog and find out, But the main reason that I come is to see my friends Jeff, Sara, Oreo and the sweet memories of Misty, DAD

A LITTLE SEED OF LOVE.

I am going to find a place to park and stop all of this running around for and get a cup of x bold and relax.

I do want to mention the entry up above that tells what things were like 100 years ago in Ronald Regan's day, I was born in 1913 so the article brought so many memories. back to me, I enjoyed thinking about those times. We were poor but happy. I do hope that you will find time to read this. Dad

THURSDAYS ENTRY # TWO THOUAND TWO HUNDRED FOURTEEN

" Give of your best to the Master"

Good Morning.

Are you feeling as good as I am this Thursday morning ? I would like ham and eggs, two slices of bacon and two or three slices of those fresh home grown tomatoes, and a cup of that Sumatra x bold coffee, then I will be ready to face what ever comes my way today. But always remember this, before we do all this we must " Begin the day with God."

I had a real good day yesterday, I received more email, comments and cell phone calls than usual, and they all were from my long time readers, I know them on a first name basis, know most of their families, and they all know me as just DAD, and there are several young people as young as 8 years old that I hear from. One of them is Micah, who lives in Birmingham, Ala. His aunt Vicki also writes me regularly. Now that is the kind of a blog that I want to write. A lot of just hits mean nothing to me, I only count comments and the good times we can exchange experiences, pictures and any other thing that we have at the time we are talking. Now will some of you my friends tell me what you think. white6416r@aol.com . Just Old Dad.

WEDNESDAYS ENTRY # TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED THIRTEEN

" Time is so precious-do not waste it"

Good Morning.

I hope that you are feeling good on this Wednesday morning. I am still doing good, still in a happy mood. Nothing does me more good than to be able to sit down here and do what I love to do best, that is tell you how to produce a good tomato, I have added two more things to that now, roses and smiles. I do not want any honor from any one as the best or largest blog in the world because I am not. I am just an old man trying to do what is right and enjoy life and help you do the same.

Good Morning.

How are you this tuesday morning ? Well I wan't to tell you that my mood is very Happy. And I have several reasons for that to be so. I have my great grand sons picture , sitting with me right over to your right, in the side panel, and am I proud of him.

That picture will be there every day, it makes me smile just to look at it, and this old man needs all the smiles that he can get, he is planning to come see us saturday, he has something planned, I don't hardly know what all.
