Subject: The Charlie Schulz Philosophy. The Charlie Schulz Philosophy (This is marvelous!! Scroll thru slowly and read carefully to receive and enjoy full effect) The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just ponder on them. Just read the e-mail straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world. 2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners. 3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant. 4 Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize. 5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress! s. 6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do? The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies.. Awards tarnish.. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

.
Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one: 1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school. 2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time. 3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile. 4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special. 5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with. Easier? The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money...or the most awards. They simply are the ones who care the most Pass this on to those people who have either made a difference in your life, or whom you keep close in your heart, like I did. 'Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. Its already tomorrow in Australia !' ''Be Yourself. Everyone Else Is Taken!

Rilmich sent this to me. thank you so much. I have always enjoyed Charlie Brown which Mr Shultz talked so much about, there is one thing that I wish he had done is let Charlie Brown win at least one ball game, he lost them all. Dad/

No wind here, but it is snowing...the kind of snow that sticks to the trees and makes everything pretty.

Oreo and I took a long walk yesterday. At one point, I decided to follow the deer prints and take a little stroll through the woods. Hoped to spot the deer, but they must have been out looking for food.

Have a good Friday.

Good Morning DAD...

The wind will be blowing and the rains will be coming and we will be travelling north to Savannah shortly. It will probably take a little longer but that will give me more time to think about those questions. That certainly are lots of people to be remembered, people who have touched my life in quiet gentle ways. People like you. Have a calm and peaceful day. >>Sara's Mom

Dear Dad, Ms. Mary, and sweet Prince:

So true, Dad -- I've never understood the celebrity-worship or the cult of "famous people" or rich people at all. My most VIP's are mostly CATS, and people like yourselves, my folks, and the many animal rescuers and other kind, gentle, loving people out there who are REAL quality folks. Those others? I couldn't even begin to name one on most of those categories, because I don't follow those topics at all.

Guess what? They are saying we may get SNOW in parts of Los Angeles over this next few days, and forecasting the snow level will go down to 1,000 ft. That hasn't happened in decades. So while you're enjoying your 59 degrees and rain, think of us here in L.A., and feel good ;)

Love to you all, and special PURRS to the Prince, from Jamaka and fams<3
