Good morning, Dad. I have the day off from work and also Monday. I will be cleaning my house today and tomorrow, and allowing Sunday and Monday for days of rest. Now that sounds like the ticket, doesn't it? I hope you will have a blessed day!

Good morning, Dad! I just realized that I missed reading your journal last night because work got busy. So tonight I'm having the pleasure of enjoying two entries, each with special things from DAD.

I am not sure why you are thanking us for reading... no, it's us who should be thanking you for writing each day, and sharing such good things.

I know what you mean about it not being easy to smile at 4 am. It's just after 4 am here and I am TIRED... can barely keep my eyes open... so I'm off to bed. Hope this is a good day for you.

I am on my lunch break from a morning of cleaning out the drawers of a desk and dresser that will be going down to my grandsons in NJ. I am throwing out a lot of unnecessary stuff that has been in the drawers for years. I've been intending to do this for some time and your quote of the day got me started. In this instance, "doing a little is better than just intending to do a lot". The drawers also contained things that are memorable and they brought out lots of smiles. Hope you are having as good a day as I am. Keep those helpful quotes coming. ....Sara's Mom

Dear Dad and Ms. Mary:

That is a beautiful video, Dad, and both of those Thoughts For The Day are worth taking to heart, aren't they? I really appreciate the second one as well -- it just feels so much better to actually do that good deed than it does sitting with the intention, because it's like a SMILE that you've shared with someone else! ;) I'm so glad you got rested up -- sometimes we have to rejuvenate and rest and relax, don't we? the better to SMILE the next day! I'm thinking about some iced coffee.

Love to you and Ms. Mary, and a blessed weekend! from Jamaka and fams
