ENTRY # EIGHTEEN HUNDRED & FIFTY SIX

Good Morning.
.
" Time is so precious-do not waste it ".
.
." Begin the day with God".
.

I like this poem very much Joan sent it. I am going to try to do what it says today. I wan't all of you to help me. Dad..
.

SMILE

Smiling is infectious,You catch it like the flu,When someone smiled at me today,I started smiling, too.

I passed around the cornerAnd someone saw my grin When he smiled I realizedI'd passed it on to him

I thought about that smile Then I realized its worth,A single smile, just like mine Could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin,Don't leave it undetected Let's start an epidemic quick,And get the world infected!

Sara has some news from Nashville, Tn that makes me so sad. HOW CAN ANYONE BE SO CRUEL. This all happened less than 200 miles from where I live. I am so happy that they are getting this stopped.

Here is the story. The dogs are in a good place now.

Thanks Sara for telling us about this. Dad.
.
Now we will look at Oreo and Misty and see what love and the best of care does. They look so happy and content this morning, and they are enjoying life. Look at them before you leave for work and it will make your day a lot better. You know where to find Sara's blog. Sara's Dog Training This will take you there. DAD.

.
My thought for today. Two verses of the poem." The abiding Love."
.
" It singeth low in ever heart, we hear it each and all- A song of those who answer not, however we may call; They throng the silence of the breast, we see them as of youre.- The kind, the brave the sweet, who walk with us no more.
.
" "Tis hard to take the burden up when these have laid it down. They brightened all the joy of life, they softened every frown. But, Oh,'tis good to think of them when we are troubled sore. Thanks be to God that such have been, although they are no more."
.
John White Chadwick.

.
That is all for this Friday morning. Smile and be kind to all today.

Good morning, Dad!

Sounds like a bit of rain coming your way but it will help things to grow. I am winding down from a long work week, and looking forward to the weekend.

I pray God blesses you and yours this day and may you feel His smile!

Good Morning DAD,

Two poems in one day is a treat...one will make us SMILE and the other will make us think and maybe act as well.

The story about those border collies is so, so sad. I can't understand how people can be so cruel. I know 7 are now in my area being lovingly cared for; I hope the others find a good rescue service as well and then move into good homes. I bet you wish you could have one or two to love and comfort.

Our weather will warm up a little for the weekend and I will want to be out enjoying it so today I plan to stay indoors and do some things to get the house ready for our bitter winters.

Have another cup of coffee, SMILE, and enjoy your day and I will do the same. ...Sara's Mom

I'll be planting some of my fall bulbs this weekend, and hoping the little critters don't eat them for dinner over the winter. You just never know what will pop up in the spring!

Hope you had a good day!

Dear Dad and Ms. Mary:

Aren't those bulb plants gorgeous? I love all of them, don't you? And the poem verses you posted are definitely not to be missed. How we hold our loved ones in our hearts until that great time when we are reunited! I know you both do, and so do I.

Sounds like your weather is definitely Autumnal. Ours is changing, too, but it's taking its time doing it. No rain yet, or forecast.

Wishing you both a good weekend! Love from Jamaka and fams

Hi Dad, came by to say hi, haven't been by for awhile.... good to 'see' you!! The coffee's great today as always!! So sad about those Border Collies found, but I'm sure glad they are being taken care of now, hopefully they will find good homes! Take care, will come by again soon.
