An old man was sitting on his porch, when a young man walked up with a pad and pencil in his hand."What are you selling, young man?" he asked."I'm not selling anything, sir," the young man replied. "I'm the census taker.""A what?" the man asked."A census taker. We are trying to find out how many people are in the United States.""Well," the man answered, "you're wasting your time with me; I have no idea."

Morning, Dad! Mmmmmm coffee smells good... Starbucks is my favorite. You always take care of me with the coffee and kind words. I loved that quote, "Scratch a dog and you'll find a permanent job." Boy, is that ever true!
It is true for sure...you scratch a dog and you have a full time job. Don't they love it. I hope your Thursday is filled with SMILES.
Good Morning DAD.. I can serve us up a cup of coffee..hot and aromatic. Yesterday I used your translator to see what I said in Polish. It looks really neat but of course I couldn't read it since I only know how to count, say good morning or good night or thank you and bless myself in Polish. Last year I went to Poland and I actually got to use my little bit of Polish to translate the price of a coffee cake for one of the other travellers...it was $3.00. She was very impressed...she didn't see me using my fingers as I counted(Jed dwa trzy) until I came to the word the sale clerk said Trzy.
Today is another lunch..this time chinese/japanese food. You must think I go out to lunch a lot. This time with the man who was my boss for many, many years. He was a wonderful man to work with and we had lunch together almost daily so I have also called him my friend for many, many years. Now, both retired, we try to meet for lunch a few times a year. He always has lots of stories to tell and he laughs at my stories as well, so it will be a good day...one with lots of smiles and kind words. I will tell him about you and your blog. I do share you and your blog with all my friends because everyone can use one of your SMILES each day.
Coffee is almost done so time to do some work aroung the house before heading out to lunch. Have a wonderful day. ...Sara's Mom
DAD, COFFEE IS FINE THOUGH DURING THE DAY I HAVE A GLASS OF JUICE.
