In the picture above is of course Old Dad & Karen in her studio in Memphis where all this work is done. I had the privilege of visiting her while we were in Memphis last week. I count that as a great honor. Thank you Karen for giving me the chance to show this to others.

Good morning to you, Dad, and glad to see you made it home safe and sound. Pretty soon it will be time to get those tomatoes planted! Thanks for reminding us about Karen's site, I meant to keep up with that, since I want to learn more about painting.

Hi Uncle Ray,

Good Morning DAD...

It is a beautiful day here and as I was doing the dishes, out my kitchen window several birds flew by. I smiled and said I must tell DAD. I do think spring may come soon. Now I'll begin to look for nests.

I think the Eagle nest should have some activity real soon. First egg laid Jan 31 is due to hatch in 35-38 days...today is day 37!

Karen's painting Fall in the Birches is very beautiful. Fall is my favorite season and this painting captures it beautifully.
...brilliant colors from the sun's light. There is so much talent in your family and we are blessed that you share it all with us.

This link appears on one of your other blog sites. I found it there this morning and I thought others would enjoy viewing, reading, and listening to it. Thanks for sharing it.

Dear Dad and Ms. Mary:

You must be glad of having such a talented artist in the family, yes? Thanks for the coffee -- I'm almost done with mine and thinking about going for more. It's sunny and there are lots of birds singing here today -- I just visited Mama Eagle, and she's looking well in her nest. Your visitor list gets more diverse all the time -- isn't that wonderful? Love to you both from Jamaka and fams
