FRIDAY'S ENTRY # TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDERD FIFTEEN

I just wanted to show you today that I am beginning to gather a few small tomatoes. My plants were set out late this year, Almost a month later than I usually do, so I am running a little late. I have a few younger plants coming on that I hope will be producing up into the late fall months.

Is it to early in the morning to talk about " Fried green tomatoes." While I think of it I want to tell you what I did yesterday afternoon. While I was in the garden I saw all those nice green tomatoes and I gathered about a dozen and headed for the kitchen and in the skillet they went. And what a good meal we had. I was thinking of a lot of you as Mary and I enjoyed our meal. I did also have some fried Okra to go with this. I offered Prince, Marys new pet some of these things and he turned up his nose and walked away.
