.

Do you like Saturday mornings as well as I do? I am glad to see them come. We seem to change our pace on Saturday, we just slow down a little, and about all we do today is to try to get ready for Sunday. Looking forward to it.
I hope that you all are expecting a nice quiet weekend, get all rested up and be ready for Monday morning. After all we do want to do an honest day's work on Monday.

As you know that I do not write a blog on Sunday morning, this one that you are now reading is being written with both Saturday and Sunday in mind. If you have any spare time I would like for you to stop and see me. We might find some coffee.

Gathering Seed

Out on the highway, wherever we go,

Seed we must gather, seed we must sow.

Even the tiniest seed has a power,

Be it a thistle, or be it a flower.

Out of each moment some good we obtain

Something to win now and scatter again.
All that we listen to, all that we read,

All that we think of is gathering seed.

Gathering seed we must scatter as well,

God will remember the place where it fell.

Only the grain of the harvest is ours

Shall we plant thistles or shall we plant flowers?

That which we gather is that which we sow.
Seedtime and harvest alternately flow.

When we have finished with time 'twill be known,

How we have gathered and how we have sown."

I do not know the author of this beautiful poem, but I want to give credit to whoever wrote it.

We have entered a new interesting link in the side panel, under the heading Dad's Favorite Links, it is Ecobirder . Beautiful bird pictures. Dad.

...

Don't forget my side panel over too the right. I am depending so much on it. We have added a few new links this week and will continue to add new ones as we get them. I edit this daily to keep all working and current. I hope that you use them and like them. DAD

...

If you are loking at the link Gatlinburg, TN Web Cam that is in the side panel, be sure and click on the picture twice after it comes up, that will enlarge the picture. Dad

........My friend Sara who lives in Italy sent this to me, You will like it. Pictures of her dog Teo, Sara and Teo are on my Smile album.

The tempeature at 3 A.M. here in the Tennessee Valley is 41, I don't have the weather report yet, but it has been raining a lot lately, maybe a few showers today.

The picture at the top is a picture that I used when we first started our blog. I had several comments saying, ( I wish that I could see around that bend in the road .) That is like our human nature always wanting to see ahead for things which God in his mercy has hidden from our view.

I am going to stop with this, since I am writing this for two days I might come back this afternoon if I get anything new.

If not I hope to see you early monday morning. I hope that all goes well with you, because I love you all.

And a good Saturday morning to you, Dad! The weather is still cool enough that this might be a pleasant weekend to just curl up with a good book... and some of that good coffee you make. I bet you're looking at the seed catalogues.

Good morning dad, it is a rainy day here. Nothing much for me to do except sit at the computer for a while and then lay around with ice packs to this back. Have a nice weekend. Helen

Hi, Dad, Ms. Mary, and Princess beauty! Those are a couple of beautiful photos, and the poem is lovely, too. Hope your evening is restful and comfortable and that your Sunday is an inspirational first one of the year. It's cold and cloudy here again and looks like rain, though none is forecast.

All the best to you all, and big PURRS to the Princess beauty! ^^
