Good Morning DAD...

Another very hot August day. It is even too hot for the beach down here. Though the children are planning to go to the Cape May Zoo today. My grandson has a question for the zoo keeper...he wants to know what sound a Giraffe makes.

Tomatoes have been gone for a few days but we have found lots of farm stands where we buy all sorts of delicious Jersey veggies. This morning the conversation around the breakfast table was of the very poor migrant workers who you see working in the fields in this hot sun, some in flip flops because they are too poor to buy shoes. We hope they work for a farmer who treats them fairly.

You should be back from the doctor's appt and I hope it was all good news. Stay cool the rest of the day with some iced coffee and lots of water. ...Sara's Mom

HI DAD,
Good Morning. It has been over a week since I last talked with you. Playing with our grandbabies is great fun. Today we are going to the NY Botanical Garden. I have already prepared Tomato Sandwiches with the delicious, huge tomatoes I bought at the farmer's market.
Next week we will travel to Joan's home and a visit to Sara, Oreo and Misty. I pray that all went well with your visit to the doctor.
Big Aloha from NYC. Sara's aunt

Dear Dad, Ms. Mary, and sweet Prince:

Wishing you safe journeys and a good report from the doctor. Hope the a/c is working well in your car and your home -- and that your heat wave will break soon! ;)

Yes, rising very early is special, isn't it? It gives one a whole different outlook on the day, and it's worth the doing.

Love to you all from Jamaka and fams
